Urheber ist die irische Band Corrigan Brothers. Die Brüder sind selbst begnadete Golfer und schrieben Rory McIlroy bereits den Song "the ballad of Rory mcilroy and their tribute to Andrew johnson called".
Für den Ryder-Cup-Song nutzten die Corrigan Brothers ihren Hit "theres no one as irish as barack obama" und texteten ihn auf "Come on team europe let's do it again" um.
