Hole 4️⃣ | Par 3 | 190 yards | S.I. 2
Following a fantastic birdie on the 3rd, you make the short walk through the trees and past the feature flower bed to the 4th tee.
It’s not time to get ahead of yourself, our 2nd hardest hole is there to greet you. This is a long par 3 with trouble lurking in several places.
If you can’t carry the ball to the green in a single shot then a decision needs to be made of where to land from the tee.
There are three ditches crossing the fairway, two of which drain into a larger penalty area that hugs the left side of the hole.
You decide to get your fairway wood out and take on the last ditch that is around 50 yards from the green. You strike it well but your ball just about carries the water.
This leaves you a short pitch over the corner of the right hand bunker, one of two that guard the green.
You get decent height and stop on the ball and it comes to rest 15 feet away from the flag. Two putts later…bogey. Not a bad outcome on this tricky hole.
