Great place, great people, great food. Thank you!!

We have been in Hotel Junger Roemer for the 5th time. It is far the best hotel in the whole Steiermark. It is located directly in the ski amade, you just walk out from the hotel and start skiing. The rooms are very comfortable with awesome view to the steiermark landscape, the heating in the room is perfect, in the bathroom everything works well. The breakfast, afternoon snack is rich and delicious and the dinner is michelin five star!. The staff is very pleasent, polite and helpfull. There is a non-stop swimming pool, sauna, massage available till evening which is excellent to use . The whole hotel is extremely clean. Nevertheless, the inside design and all decoration of the Hotel is very selective meeting high demands. We also have to mention that in the past 7 years nothing changed, everything is running at the same high level standard. Congratulations to the owner. We will definately come back again, and again.

It was a combination of location, good and kind service, good food and room. Hotel is not new but is well conserved and clean. Rooms can look outdated but I like vintage and also hotels maintining their origins. FOOD - The breakfast was a buffet and the quality I found was good. You could order too eggs and bacon and would be served to you. You could even breakfast outside in the terrace. The dinner was really great, served to the table and they have a wide selection of drinks. LOCATION - is perfect - Located in a golf course, and you can also rent bikes and e-bikes and you can drive around to do sport. It is also close to other restaurants and hotels, so you can have a drink after for ex in a different place. Service - Was attentive in general. Room - we were lucky - had a great view over the mountains and the golf site. They have pool and spa area. A little bit small but clean and we always had a chair outside withouth a space problem at that time. There is also a small bar down below in the golf course (check opening schedule) where you could sit and watch playing the last hole of the golf course. All in all, a place to live the origins and at the same time enjoy golfing, relax and other activities such biking (i.e. Taurista route), running in the surroundings.

Food and staff were definitely 5 stars, but otherwise... outdated interior and facilities , elevator does not go up to the third floor (which is not fun with all the ski baggage), small pool, tiny saunas and not enough chairs in the wellness area. Dinners were delicious, with some creative dishes. There’s always meat/fish/veggie option. Good coffee at breakfast, you can even make your own carrot/apple fresh juice. Yummy cakes for afternoon snack.

Excellent. Peronally I like is a smaller retreat location, where I'm treatrd like a king and can disconnect from daily business and enjoy a short time off. Locationwise it is ideally placed, only a few hundred meters away from the slope. The breakfast is rich, buffet style. The dinner is also generous (5 dishes) and most importantly the hotel has always new dishes. We stayed almost 1 week and there was no dish repeated! Needles to say, unless you ask, they do not serve "pommes" and similar. :) In the basement there is a small pool and a sauna, free to use for the guests. Again a big advantage as there is no need to drive somewhere else. All in all, I like it very much - we were there in the last 2 years - and I think we will continue going there.
