We had an amazing stay at Iberostar Selection Lagos Algarve. The food was outstanding — the breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets offered plenty of delicious options every day. The entertainment team kept things lively with great activities and a really friendly atmosphere. The hotel’s location was also a big highlight: close to the beach, with beautiful surroundings and easy access to the best spots in Lagos. It was a fantastic experience overall, and we’d happily come back! 🌟🌴

We stayed at the Iberostar near Lagos for a week in late October. The hotel and the stay were fantastic. It is located somewhat outside of Lagos and hence in a very quiet area. A very large and beautiful beach is across a small street and 3 to 5 mins of walking distance. Getting to Lagos is around 10 mins by car and bus goes there once an hour. Overall, the location is pretty great, if you want it a more calm. The staff is fantastic, very attentive and friendly. A big thanks to Leonor and the Spa team, that is doing a great job with a massage offering. There is private area with a Jacuzzi, sauna, and steam bath to book for one hour. We had the half board and. The food, both breakfast and dinner, is great and felt of really high quality with a new selection of meat and fish every day. We really liked the rooms and they are well equipped. We were on the same floor as the reception and bar and hence could here the noise from the evening program. But it ended reasonably early, so no issue. Overally, we can really recommend the hotel.

We recently stayed at the Iberostar Hotel, Lagos, and we had the best experience. My fiancé and I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect setting for our proposal. From the very first moment, the entire team made us feel so welcomed and special. A huge thank you to Pablo,and the whole team, who went above and beyond to help plan and make our proposal absolutely unforgettable. Every little detail was handled with such care The staff were exceptional throughout our stay. Everyone we met was so kind, attentive, and genuinely happy to make our experience special. We also treated ourselves to massages in the spa area, and we enjoyed every second of it, it was truly relaxing. The pool area was stunning, the food was incredible, and the overall atmosphere was just perfect. It felt a little more than just a holiday, they made it feel like home. We stayed at the Iberostar in the Algarve and had a great experience overall. Our room was on the top floor with an amazing ocean view. The location is beautiful and it’s just a short walk down to the beach, which was peaceful and not crowded at all. It felt very romantic. The breakfast buffet was also really good with a big selection and plenty of options. A few downsides were that the carpet on the sixth floor felt old and worn, which didn’t really match the five-star feel of the hotel. The AC didn’t seem to work properly in the mornings and was blowing warm air, so we had to open the balcony door for some breeze. The room phone also didn’t work, and even though I mentioned it to the front desk, no one ever came to fix it. Overall, it’s a beautiful hotel in a perfect location and definitely worth staying at. The service could be a little more attentive, and the rooms could use some updates to match the quality of everything else.

My husband and I returned home last Saturday after a two week stay at this hotel. It was really good. When we arrived we were greeted by Jason at reception who was excellent during our whole stay. Max the porter was also really good and always willing to help. Big Thankyou Karim and his team at the pool bar. Very modern hotel which was lovely, food good, location good only minutes in small bus to town. The only small negative things were, carpets in room and landings need cleaned. Pool towells need renewed and also white room towells. I know it is getting to end of season but things need replaced people are paying a lot of money for their holidays. But everything else really good and we will be back to stay at this hotel again.
