We stayed at this hotel and absolutely loved our experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome — kind, professional, and always ready to help. The front desk team took care of every detail and made everything feel effortless. The location, set in the suburbs, was calm and pleasant — close enough to reach the city easily, yet quiet enough to enjoy peaceful moments. The view from our room was beautiful, especially in the mornings and evenings. The restaurant was excellent — not only was the food delicious, but the restaurant staff offered such warm, heartfelt care. They paid attention to every detail and made each meal feel special. The shuttle service was fantastic and made getting around easy and comfortable. Every service reflected real thoughtfulness and a touch of luxury. The atmosphere of the hotel was elegant, cozy, and full of genuine warmth. We left feeling happy, relaxed, and deeply grateful for such a beautiful experience. ❤️

The team have a fabulous attitude toward their individual roles that was noticed and experienced at Front Desk, Housekeeping, Bar, Restaurant, Spa, Pool and Gardeners! Genuine care with warm friendly smiles and professional service delivery. The food quality, freshness, taste, plate presentation and choices at breakfast and on all other menus exceptional. Excellent wine list and very well built cocktails from the bar, most enjoyable! Overall a stunningly property beautifully appointed with fine furnishings, and color palette. Guest room amenities and towels, bed linens amongst the very best found anywhere in the high end luxury market. As casually mentioned recommend changing mini bar opener and check closet door protectors are in place. Basically, Villa La Massa is operated like a grand sophisticated private home with a big heart. We enjoyed immersing ourselves into your environment of comfort and hospitality. Grazie mille!!

Villa La Massa is the kind of place that makes you instantly slow down. Just outside Florence, it’s quiet, surrounded by nature, and right on the Arno. The staff are warm and thoughtful without ever feeling over the top, and the rooms have that classic Tuscan vibe — comfortable, charming, and calm. Breakfast on the terrace and dinner by the river are highlights, and the pool area is perfect for unwinding. If you want a stay that feels easy, peaceful, and authentically Tuscan while still being close to the city, this is the spot.

What a great stay at Villa La Massa! My husband and I spent 2 nights here in September, and we wished we had more time to enjoy the property. We stayed in one of the river view rooms in the newer La Limonaia building and it was truly one of the most comfortable and clean rooms we’ve ever stayed in (and we can be particular). All of the spaces in the hotel are incredibly well designed in Tuscan style, and we loved that the main attractions in Florence were just a quick 15-20 minute shuttle ride away. The staff were helpful and friendly and we enjoyed spending time at the gorgeous pool or on the trails on the grounds after spending time in the city. We can’t wait to come back and will certainly be recommending Villa La Massa to friends and family looking for a beautiful, warm, conveniently located stay outside of Florence.
