Verdura Resort, a Rocco Forte Hotel

Verdura is simply the best golf resort in Europe. Two Kyle Phillips courses that are both in immaculate condition. The par-3 course is perfect for a warm-up or when you want a quick round.

The Verdura Resort is in a league of its own. Two championship courses designed by Kyle Phillips, both right on the coast. The practice facilities are the best I've ever seen in Europe.

Verdura is surely the top resort in all of Sicily. Concierge level service from arrival to departure. Truly remarkable. Many 5 star resorts can be really packed with guests, making it hard to find a lounge at the pool or beach, get a table at a restaurant, massage, etc. Verdura is busiest at breakfast, but the remainder of the day, it feels like you have the resort to yourself, in part because it's such a massively expansive property. 45 holes of outstanding links golf, a variety of restaurants with the finest dining experiences on the island, a massive spa complex with an extensive of unique treatments, therapeutic pools, the best equipped fitness room/gym, etc, etc. The pool is probably one of the largest in the EU. The beach extends hundreds of yards with hundreds of loungers, umbrellas, full bar and food service. The breakfast buffet is one of the best you'll find. Selinunte Archaeological Park is only 45 minutes to the West, which was the highlight of my 2 weeks in Sicily.

We just spent 9 days at the RF Verdura resort. Exceptional location, facilities and services. Very attentive and friendly staff. A large number of staff seem to have worked there for many years which shows in their care and attention to the guests. The head sommelier Nando Papa was exceptional and a true professional. We will be back!

Verdura Resort – A Honeymoon to Remember! What a place! My wife and I are coming to the end of our honeymoon at Verdura, and it was fantastic. The staff were brilliant and are always smiling despite working hard and long hours. The facilities were excellent; I really enjoyed playing the West Course, even though the condition was not great due to the drought and my wife loved her spa treatment. We would both love to return, the spa for her, and me to try the other course! We would 100% recommend this place, but do remember to bring your wallet!

Giuseppe trained me in a HIIT class. He customized the workout to my fitness level, payed attention to proper technique without taking too much time away from my workout, challenged me while providing modifications for my bad back. I do fitness classes 5 days per week in Chicago and his was equally as good. For reference, I am at a high fitness level. I highly recommend that you take one of Giuseppe classes or sign up for a personal training session! Great fitness facility and spa as well!

Overall great experience! Pool is beautiful, service was great. The golf course was very sub par, especially for the price. There were yellow jackets on all the greens, lots of first if you miss a fairway, and there's very little amenities around it. The bar restaurant near the golf shop we thought was sub par. But we enjoyed biking around the resort, the pool, the beach, and more.
