The Inn at Spanish Bay

I never leave reviews but I had to come and leave this one. My husband and I visit the Inn at Spanish Bay every January for a golf trip. We have gotten to know the staff and have connected with them on a personal level. My husband and I lost our baby boy to a miscarriage before we left for our trip. My healing process was fine until we got to the Inn. Let’s just say it was a very hard week but every single staff member showed up for me and did anything and everything they could to help me. I had house keeping delivering essentials to my room without me even requesting anything… the service there was incredible. Last but certainly not least, TRACY. She is exceptional at what she does and goes above and beyond for her guests. Every year we are eager to see her and catch up with her! I’m already counting down the days until our trip next January!

Drinks and appetizers for bagpipes at sunset was amazing. We walked from out cottage along Asilomar coastal trail and were able to find the trail to Inn and Spanish Bay. Asked around and went around the corner to fire pits to have a cocktail and snack. The bagpiper played for awhile. Check website for timing.

We've stayed here many times over the years and have always had a wonderful time. The hotel staff has always been great as well ! It's a really relaxing place to stay. It's such a beautiful property. We usually stay in an ocean view room which we love . Roy's & Peppoli have delicious food and wonderful views. Stick's at the golf course has very good food and drinks. Stave Wine Cellar is also a great place to enjoy wine. There is also the fire pit's to enjoy drinks, watch the bagpiper and sunset. You can also walk down to the beach too. We stayed during the Christmas Holidays last year and may do the same this year. We had a great time as usual, and we enjoyed our ocean view room. The Monterey Peninsula is one of our favorite places to visit.

Our stay at The Inn at Spanish Bay was absolutely outstanding. Truly 5 stars all around! We stayed in an Ocean Loft room, and the views were breathtaking. Every detail of the room was thoughtfully designed. What really set this stay apart was the service. It was, without question, the best I have ever experienced. Every staff member we encountered was professional, warm, and genuinely attentive. No detail was missed, and everything felt effortless and perfectly executed. The Inn at Spanish Bay delivers the perfect balance of comfort, elegance, and world-class hospitality.

The entire staff we encountered were friendly! Room was beautiful. The food and drinks on site were delicious. Enjoyed the bagpipe each night. My son loved playing the course. It’s beautiful! Would absolutely come back and recommend!
