First time back in Bushmills in about 15 years, now armed with a wife and 2 kids!! We were not staying this time, but booked into the restaurant for an evening meal.
The hotel and inn are great. Real old world charm, open fires, lime washed walls and exposed oak beams. It is definitely bigger than I remember, a proper hotel in its own right!
The food was excellent. We had steak and fish, which were very good. They have a separate fryer for their chips, delighting my celiac daughter! They were clued in and aware of celiacs disease, which is good to see! Staff were friendly, helpful and plentiful! Will be back to stay over, maybe minus the kids!

Hospitality Done Properly at Bushmills Inn
Bushmills Inn feels like the kind of place hoteliers talk about and rarely achieve. Beautiful rooms, proper beds and all the small details that show someone actually thought about the guest rather than the brochure. The building has real character without feeling tired, and every corner invites you to slow down, sit by the fire and remember what a hotel is meant to feel like.
The food plays its part with confidence. Breakfast sets you up for the Causeway Coast and dinner delivers honest, well cooked dishes that respect local ingredients without getting clever for the sake of it. It is not theatre on a plate, it is simply very good cooking served in a room where you want to linger and order another round.
But the secret weapon is the team. Service here is best in class, warm, natural and completely on the ball. They notice things before you ask, fix problems before they grow and make you feel like a regular on your first visit. Facilities matter, food matters, yet it is the people that turn Bushmills Inn from a lovely hotel into a place you plan to return to before you have even left.

I first visited the Bushmills Inn as a child when my parents showed me the secret library behind the bookshelf, and that magic stayed with me. I didn’t step foot in the door again for another 20 years, but now my wife and I have started going back for their beautiful breakfasts and the Thursday cinema night there for the last six years.
We have also stayed over and had beautiful meals; the staff really go out of their way to make every detail amazing. There is honestly nothing cosier than being tucked up beside the fire in the Bushmills on a winter’s night.
One of my favorite touches is that they have a flag for every country in the world, and each day they fly the flag of the guest who has travelled the furthest to be there. I look forward to many more amazing stays and meals in the Bushmills Inn.

This was our first visit/stay in the Bushmills Inn and as I am originally from the North Antrim coast I know that the location is perfect to visit all sites in the area. The Inn is old style but with all the modern amenities you could want. Lovely room with Nespresso machine, kettle, fridge, safe, ironing board, iron, hairdryer, you name it, it was there. Lovely room, staff very friendly and helpful. We ate in the bar the first night and the restaurant the second night, the food was gorgeous with great selection as was breakfast each morning. Highly recommend a stay in this place 😊
