Sugar Beach Mauritius

We chose to spend 22nd February at Sugar Beach Mauritius for both lunch and dinner, and it turned out to be an absolutely wonderful decision. From the moment we arrived, we received a very warm welcome and excellent service throughout the day. The food was absolutely amazing — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish exceeded our expectations. We were celebrating my mom’s birthday, and the team made it even more special with their attention and kindness. A special mention to Cedric and Lucy at reception for their professionalism and warm hospitality, and to Pravesh at Buddha Bar Beach during lunch for his outstanding service. Thank you to the entire team for making the day so memorable. We will definitely be back! 🌸

We had a truly wonderful day with the family at this hotel, and it was the exceptional staff that made it so special. A huge thank you to Vij, Nadine, and the Guest Service team for looking after us so well as Deepak, Vanessa—their hospitality really set the tone for our visit. The dining experiences were the absolute standout of our stay. At BBB, Pravesh provided seamless service that made our meal a delight. We also spent time at Mare Mare, where Erwin and Avi were incredible—they were attentive and professional without ever feeling pushy, which we really appreciated. Whether it was lunch or dinner, the quality of the dishes and the level of service on both sides were top-tier. We’ll definitely be back!

We stayed at Sugar Beach Mauritius for five nights and the place looks amazing. The location is perfect, right by the beach, and the restaurants are excellent. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. Service at the main restaurant was sometimes a little slow, so I would recommend booking the other restaurants in advance. Our room was always spotless and well organised. A special thank you to Patricia, our cleaning lady, who did a fantastic job every day. It is a wonderful place to stay whether you are travelling as a couple or with family. We would happily return.

We had an amazing stay at this resort. The service was excellent and the food was very good and delicious every day organised by the head chef Krishna Mauree. Our room was cleaned perfectly and always kept neat and tidy by Emirith. A special thanks to Anuradha for the wonderful service and the thoughtful gift we received during our stay — it made us feel truly welcomed. We celebrated our anniversary during our stay, and the resort surprised us with a special invitation for dinner at the Mare Mare Restaurant. The food there was absolutely delicious. To make it even more special, our room was beautifully decorated for the occasion. Overall, a fantastic experience with great hospitality, excellent food, and warm service. Highly recommended!

We had a really nice time at the hotel. The beach was beautiful, and the hotel has different areas with different atmospheres, some parts are more lively and loud, while another areas are much more quiet and romantic. We were initially placed in the livelier area, but since we were travelling as a couple and celebrating our anniversary, we asked to be moved to the other side. We were taken care of by Krishnee, and we were very thankful to her. In addition, the hotel organised a very nice anniversary dinner for us. Overall, it was a really pleasant experience, and we can definitely recommend this hotel.
