SPA RESORT STYRIA Bad Waltersdorf

My fiancé and I had a really pleasant stay at this hotel. The facilities are great as well as the food proposed at night and the breakfast buffet. lots of bio products of excellent quality. All the staff is also really friendly and accommodating. One thing though is that it would be nice to still be able to use the SPA area on the day of the check out without paying. Other than that it’s perfect.

The place is amazing! Extremely nice and competent staff who are always happy to help. The food at the restaurant was an absolute delight. Booking a candlelight dinner during your stay is a splendid idea — a 7-course meal you shouldn’t miss. The room was spacious and spotless. All of the pool areas are outstanding, offering the perfect setting to fully relax.

Listen, it’s all relative. To me three starts mean “okay”. Not bad, certainly not “excellent”, but not even “very good”. A couple of years ago, when I first visited, I thought this place was amazing. Later I started upgrading my travel style, and started visiting LHW, and came back here for a quick stop, I quickly realized this place is cheap. Not inexpensive, but cheap. Nothing wrong with basic amenities, it’s just a shock to experience it after more luxurious experiences. Let’s just say don’t come here right after the Burgenstock Resort 🙈 I’m not comparing the two, they’re not in the same class, it’s just that the contrast is striking. I’m sure lots of people will enjoy this place. I would describe this place as a basic four-star, low-end, decent spa hotel, don’t expect more and you’ll be satisfied.

nice hotel in a quiet location near the highway and actually next to a golf course that is nicely maintained. the wellness department is nice, the pools and saunas are big enough for all guests. The restaurant and the food were excellent every day. The selection of wines was sufficient, local wineries were represented, but the prices seemed a bit overpriced. The rooms are spacious and clean
