SO/ Sotogrande Spa & Golf Resort Hotel

We stayed at Sotogrande for a golf trip and had an amazing time. The resort is beautiful and the courses are well maintained. Breakfast had great a selection and was top quality. The staff at the IXO Tapas Bar were also fantastic — super friendly, helpful, and created a great atmosphere in the evenings. Everything felt relaxed but high-end at the same time. A perfect place for a golf getaway and somewhere we’d definitely return to.

Amazing experience from start to finish. The hotel is great, nice surroundings, a lot of green and a big SPA with lot of different options. But the best thing during our stay was the service level in all different departments. From checking in, to the different restaurants, breakfast as well as the dinner at Cortijo Santa Maria 1962. Great food and even better service. Thanks!

SPA & WELLNESS Review. I have not been a resort guest at the SO Hotel. I am a member of their Spa & Wellness Club. And my review is limited to this part of the resort. The facilities are clean and well maintained. Not as luxurious as some of the other world renowned resort spas I have experienced at Pebble Beach, CA and Scottsdale, AZ. But it is nice. The service is impactable. I have enjoyed the group workout classes. Jesus is an instructor I have numerous classes with and he will provide you with a good workout. Even though English is not his first language, he makes an effort to provide me with a class that I have enjoyed ( and kicks my butt ). Everyone at the resort goes out of their way to ensure you have a great experience.

Spent 2 night with my husband for our 20 year anniversary. Luxurious resort and for the golf enthusiasts, a perfect location. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Amazing service from the moment we arrived until the day we checked out esp by the staff at reception. The dining options were so good that we didn't need to leave the resort! Paella day is a must and we had the most delicious tapas and dessert at IXO Tapas Bar! Highly recommended!

Dining at Cortijo at SO/ Sotogrande was an absolute delight from start to finish. The moment we arrived, the staff , Diego, Arantxa, Jose and Sergio, greeted us with warm smiles and genuine hospitality that set the tone for the evening. Every team member was attentive, professional, and clearly passionate about what they do. The food was nothing short of outstanding. Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavour. You could taste the freshness and quality of every ingredient. The Pechuga de pichón was a standout, perfectly cooked and balanced with just the right mix of textures . All staff were fantastic, offering thoughtful recommendations(Pavlova De Cereza) and checking in just enough to make sure everything was perfect. The combination of incredible food and genuinely caring staff made this one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time.
