Sesimbra Oceanfront Hotel

Despite the fact, I came here with terrible weather so there’s wasn’t much I could do, but tbh im from uk so a storm is not big of a deal haha! but surely did missed a lot of things, love the fact that, housekeeping knock on door everyday and ask politely if we need room clean. the standard of the cleaning is perfect! For dinner, had a lovely service every time from especially from fabio and storm? I believe the name rymes with orm. Both are amazing! She was lovely, every meal I had she was very attentive and know exactly what we want. Will miss her and her accommodating services. p.s i love the butter that’s served at dinner with bread please may i know what butter it is 😭. The only down side during the stay was breakfast are limited, but still healthy. The wall in the room are crack and the balcony is not v clean tbh. the fridge has a lot of mould. Other than that everything was good, will definitely go back!

There is nothing to do here during the winter. The staff is extremely good! The hotel itself is a 4-star hotel at best. The indoor pool is not heated and is cold. The sauna is good, but there are only two sunbeds in the chill area for the entire hotel. Shower instead of bathtube in the room. Breakfast is very basic, and the coffee at breakfast is not good. Maybe during the summer you don’t pay attention to these issues because the hotel is located on the oceanfront, and the outdoor pool and jacuzzi look nice.

The service at this hotel is absolutely exceptional and truly second to none. Every single staff member was warm, welcoming, and eager to help, creating an outstanding experience from start to finish. A special mention goes to Catarina and Fábio, who went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. Their wit, positive energy, and genuine friendliness made them an absolute joy to be around and a true highlight of our visit. They represent hospitality at its very best.

Visited recently for a friends wedding in Setúbal. Hotel rooms are clean with good amenities and the staff are friendly. The food is a little pricey and I wish the rooftop pool was a little bigger as it was hard to find a spot, also wouldn’t advise going in the spa when there’s kids around, but all round a good experience.

Not impressed with this hotel. Not a 5 stars by far, maybe give it 4, so people are not disappointed. We did have good experiences there but almost all of them come with a "BUT". One thing is true without a doubt - great view and location. For the rest: - interior looks pretty but tired, scratched and crumbling if you look closer. Rooms are big but look empty - issues are resolved by staff but with a lot of attitude "there are so many of you and only one of me", almost rolling their eyes at you sometimes. Staff are cold in general - breakfast area is huge with lots of stations but the options are quite poor. Sparkling wine is not automatically making it 5 star, sorry - the pool is tiny with only a few sunbeds Honestly this hotel is in need of a proper upgrade in terms of quality and operational excellence. Currently it doesn't give much love.
