Quinta do Vale

I mistankenly reviewed another Quinta do Vale! I am so sorry Inez. I loved my stay at your Quinta do Vale and you must have wondered why I did not review it... So here it is: I had a lovely stay at Quinta do Vale. Inez was very welcoming and accommodating. She realized I was a bit anxious about their two dogs, and was careful to keep them at a distance, even though they were harmless. The place was so peaceful. I am sorry I didn't have time to try the pool, because it looked very clean and welcoming. There were instructions about how to things and I appreciated them asking to take a shower before going in the pool, as this seemed very hygienic. If I had to give a small suggestion, it would be to be able to shut the brown glass door to the corridor without making noise. I say this because one night I arrived after midnight and was afraid to wake up my neighbours when shutting this door. Otherwise, the surroundings were so tranquil and peaceful, making Quinta do Vale the ideal place to rest in nature. A couple of old horses wander through the grounds in the distance, but they are accustomed to people and will ignore any passing cars or guests. I hope to return to Quinta do Vale in the future, and most likely will.

Great stay!!! It's a beacon of rest in a beautifull environment. Our host Inez was too sweet and very helpfull with recommendations for nearby restaurants. Our room had everything we needed and the pool area was big and relaxing as well. We would certainly recommend this b&b to anyone who wants to explore the Algarve from a fixed location.

I had the pleasure of spending a few days at Quinta do Vale – and everything was simply perfect. The entire team is super friendly, warm, and helpful, making you feel welcome from the very first moment. The property itself is immaculately maintained, with great attention to detail. Everything is clean, tidy, and beautifully designed – truly a place to relax and enjoy. I can highly recommend Quinta do Vale to anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable stay. Magical – a little slice of paradise! From the moment we arrived at Quinta do Vale, we felt completely at home. Charlie and Lucy are absolute gems – so warm and welcoming. They go above and beyond to make sure you’re comfortable, and nothing ever feels like too much trouble. You can really feel the love and care they’ve poured into this place. The buildings themselves are stunning - dreamy architecture, peaceful whitewashed walls, and beautifully designed spaces. The grounds are pure tranquillity – you could wander for hours just soaking it all in. The pool… honestly, it’s the best pool I’ve ever experienced! Huge, sparkling, and surrounded by sunshine – you could spend so much time just soaking up the bliss. One of the huge highlight was the animals! The sweet dogs and roaming horses brought so much joy – it was medicine for the soul. Such a wholesome energy. We didn’t want to leave and are planning our return. Couldn’t recommended enough!

I spent three wonderful weeks at Quinta do Vale and it’s truly a hidden gem. Charlie and Lucy are the most welcoming, caring hosts - from picking us up at the train station to sharing delicious, home-cooked meals every evening (using their own fresh fruit and veg from the garden!), they went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The property is full of charm and natural beauty. We helped with some restoration and gardening during our stay, which made us appreciate just how much love and care they’ve put into this place. There are acres of land to wander through, with horses roaming freely and friendly dogs always nearby for a cuddle. The pool is absolutely stunning - huge, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing in the sun. The bar area is also a lovely spot to unwind in the evenings. Whether you want to explore the beaches and surrounding Algarve by car or just switch off and soak up the calm countryside, Quinta do Vale is the perfect base. Charlie and Lucy have created something really special here - a place that feels both relaxing and alive. I can’t recommend it enough.
