Mijas Golf International SAU - MIJAS GOLF CLUB

The course had suffered due to a lot of rain. Buggies were only allowed on the paths due to the wet fairways. Despite the previous rain we had lovely weather and apart from the course playing long due to not having much run on the soft fairways. A very challenging course with some very tricky and challenging holes. We all really enjoyed the course.

I played a round on Mijas Los olivos course Jan 20. walkable course, which is nice in Costa del sol because many golf course are too hilly to walk. For a winter round, tee box, fairway and green were in very decent conditions. Layout is more forgiving than the hilly courses so beginner can play. Because we were the first 2some of the day, we played in 3hrs but this is not usual 😃. As a Canadian not use to these golf range track man on each position, this is so great.

Played Los Lagos. Nice layout. Tricky approach shots. Parkland style. Even after a brief storm playable except the bunkers. Very fun course.

Played Los Olivos Decent pro shop some with great value and lovely staff, grub in the restaurant was very tasty and quick service. We need off at 8.10am and it took 3hrs 5 mins (2 ball) Pretty friendly course, quite short and open fairways, greens are true and fast and well protected. Course tee boxes could do with some TLC in regards to sign posts and tee box numbers as we got lost about 4 times going from green to the next tee box.. Otherwise a decent experience 👌

Great course and location, played both Lagos and Olivos both great tracks, the Lagos is still having work done to it (mainly a couple of water holes need filling back up) tees to greens in top condition, would not hesitate to play either of them again.
