Meri Hotel

We stayed here as a family in late October 2025 and absolutely loved it! The location is stunning — a peaceful lagoon surrounded by mountains, perfect if you prefer calm water. The hotel grounds are stylish and well kept, and the view from the rooms is breathtaking. The food was excellent — fresh, tasty, and with plenty of choice. Drinks were great too, cocktails were made generously and quite tasty Turkish wine. Staff were amazing — friendly, quick to help, and really made us feel welcome. Big thanks to Ms. Günel, Mr. Serhat, bellman Ibrahim, and the spa team (espesially Misha and male masseur 👌🏼) for their warmth and professionalism. Rooms are clean but a bit dated, and there were some mosquitoes in the evenings. Also, it would be nice to see water bowls for the stray cats living on site. Overall, this is definitely one of the most beautiful locations for a holiday in Turkey — highly recommend and would love to return!

I have never written a negative review, however, I am so disappointed with this hotel.  Firstly, the room had a constant strong awful smell, which after reading some other reviews, may have been the smell of sewage.  The duvet, which had no clean cover on, had a faceal smear on it! The constant thumping of loud music into our room from the hotel 2100hrs to midnight and from next door during the day, meant there was no escape. My wife had the most terrible food poisoning which meant we were stuck in our room for a couple of days.  All this lead to us switching hotels after four torturous  days.  The Manager wasn’t interested and when checking out, couldn’t be bothered to speak to us about this.  He said he was coming over to discuss the stay, then 20min after waiting for him, we were told he wasn’t coming!  What a shame as the hotel is set a lovely bay.  No attempt at communication or a refund has been made.

Our holiday at Meri Hotel Ölüdeniz was absolutely perfect - a true paradise surrounded by breathtaking nature, turquoise waters, and peaceful vibes. The service was exceptional from start to finish, and the hospitality made us feel right at home. A special thank you to Gunel, the receptionist, for her kindness, warm smile and help, and always being ready to help with anything we needed. And sincere appreciation to Mr. Serhan, the front desk manager, for his professionalism and care that made our stay even more comfortable and memorable. Every detail, from the clean rooms and delicious food to the relaxing beach and stunning views - was simply wonderful. We’re already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a relaxing and heartwarming holiday experience! 🌺

A wonderful holiday experience! Probably the best hotel in this area, located on the first line. The hotel deserves all 4 stars and seems to be designed for content creation, with plenty of beautiful photo spots and details. A special thank‑you to the entire hotel team: particularly Gunel and Elena at the lobby, as well as the bar staff, restaurant team, lifeguards, and housekeeping. Highly recommended! By the way, the hotel has a very informative and high‑quality Instagram page.

I just have to share how much I've been enjoying my time at the Ölüdeniz Meri Hotel. This place is an absolute gem, and the experience has been nothing short of fantastic. From the very first moment , the service has been top-notch, and the staff truly goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The food is moreish, the staff are friendly and responsive. Whatever we needed was always there for us. A special shout-out to Gunel, the receptionist, is a star! Always welcoming and efficient, and Mr. Serhat, the Front Desk Manager. He was clearly dedicated to ensuring all guests have a memorable stay.
