What a great experience this could be. However, no water for toilet or washing hands when we arrived. The staff was not afraid to charge 4 euros for a bottle of water to brush the teeth. Finally, after some intervention the water was switched on for having a shower. The breakfast was average. Beside this, the location itself is really nice.

Wedding hotel middle of nowhere. It could be a hide- away hotel and you can come here as couple but not appropriate for any (e.g. Tourist) group because there is no public transportation nearby you are stuck here. Although, garden is wonderfully and well maintained, there is swimming pool which can be used only daytimes. There are couple of information leaflet, part of it in English but this is true Italian hotel, there is no single international channel in TV. Housekeeping also did not realized our shower door was jammed and one roller was missing and cannot be closed during our 3 days stay. I also found that breakfast is also weak (my wife is not agree on that) such as there is no egg. The stuff was very helpful and few, the hotel seems to be self operated. Also there is no luggage or disabled ramp to hotel entrance but stairs, all the guest were stunned with their luggage at their hand first. Some of them dragged their luggage up the stairs, some were helped by the hotel staff. After a while, we saw the disabled elevator next to the stairs, which is used only in cases of necessity and is generally for show and broken. Fortunately, it was working, it took some time for the hotel staff to operate it, but a certain number of luggage was taken to the hotel entrance with this elevator. I think the wheel of a luggage that was dragged up the stairs broke.

Masquerading as a “Hotel/Resort” this far from pleasant functions venue prioritised 6 weddings and bar-mitsva during our high season 9 day stay. There was absolutely no priority given to regular hotel guests who were asked to restrain from using pools, subjected to midnight fire works and wedding singer style music that played late into the nights. Stressed out unsympathetic staff had no time to unlock the gym (no idea why this couldn’t be left open) offer any compensation for the reduced pool/restaurant/bar/parking facilities or provide a drinks service by the pool (when it was open). The rooms smelt mouldy, had no iron or ironing board and required a call to reception to turn on the air conditioning. Unless you’re planning a last minute marriage proposal avoid this place like the plague.

We spent 3 nights there. It was still before the height of a season, and it was relatively quiet, and the pool was not yet in use. We felt as if we were almost alone.
The room is a beautiful, roomy stone "cave"with the patio leading out to the view to the pool and sea.
Facility and a service are great. The main building and gardens have tranquil character and new parts blend in style with the old ancient maseria.
Late night dinner and breakfast suddenly got very full and busy - two busses got in with plenty of passengers.

Beautiful place.
The room are spacious and brand new.
BUT the room are humid, even if you open the door and the window, 15min later the humidity rate rises up.
The breakfast is international and cheap. I would rather less but quality. They serve the worse coffee of all Puglia and some waiter advice you to serve by yourself! The restaurant food is not good either and the choice is narrow.
The pool is amazing but you don't have access whenever you want : it may be privatised for a marriage.
