Marriott's Marbella Beach Resort

The place is good. The rooms are comfortable and the facilities a good for kids and families. It is a distance away from central Marbella which is both good and not-so-good if you don’t have your transport. Taxis could be good option if you’re not renting a car (which we did). Parking is free for guest which is a big bonus.

Marriott Marbella Beach Resort was truly one of the highlights of our entire Spain trip. We stayed for three weeks in a three-bedroom apartment facing the pool, and we honestly could not have asked for a better room or a better experience. The apartment was spacious, beautifully maintained, and gave everyone plenty of room to spread out and relax. Having a terrace overlooking the pool made it even more enjoyable, and the private laundry room was a huge bonus for a longer stay. One feature we loved was the on-site supermarket. It was incredibly convenient for groceries, supplies, and quick essentials, and the staff there were genuinely wonderful. We went in almost every morning for coffee and croissants, and the ladies who worked there were so kind that we ended up looking forward to seeing them daily. They also had ice cream, sodas, water, and plenty of other necessities, which made everything easy and stress-free. What truly made this resort exceptional, though, was the staff and the level of care they showed. During our stay, my husband came down with a severe case of norovirus and we needed medical help quickly. Naomi was absolutely incredible—she immediately arranged a doctor’s appointment, and when we realized my husband was too sick to even get into a car, she found a physician who actually came directly to our apartment to treat him. Her kindness and quick action truly helped save our trip, and I will never forget how supported we felt. The resort itself is beautifully located and offers a lot to enjoy right on property. It is in the Elviria area (east of Marbella), so you’ll likely want to Uber to Old Town or Puerto Banús since it isn’t a walkable location for those spots, but there is plenty to do at the resort itself. The private beach is wonderful, and the spa is a great amenity as well. We visited over Christmas, and the holiday decorations were beautiful—it felt festive and welcoming. I can only imagine how phenomenal this place is in the summer. As a Marriott Bonvoy Lifetime Platinum member, I’ve stayed at many Marriott properties, and I can confidently say this was one of the most positive experiences of our entire trip. Thank you to all the staff for your warmth, hospitality, and professionalism. Marriott Marbella Beach Resort was truly a crown jewel of our visit to Spain, and we cannot wait to return.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Marriott Marbella from start to finish. From the very warm welcome by Mr. Martin Divenosa, everything throughout our stay was exceptionally pleasant. We stayed in a wonderfully spacious suite with a fully equipped kitchen, a large bedroom, and a lovely private terrace. The powerful air conditioning and heating in all rooms worked perfectly and ensured comfort at any time of day. The resort features large gardens that are maintained well. Just as warm as the welcome was, everyone working at the resort was genuinely kind and pleasant from the front desk, restaurant, the pool guards, housekeeping to the security team. Every single person contributed to a truly enjoyable experience! The resort offers a very good restaurant, a shop for daily necessities, a gym (where the air conditioning could be set a bit less warm), and several swimming pools and whirlpools. Direct access to the beach is absolutely fantastic. The Elviria area itself has a great selection of nice bars, restaurants, and supermarkets, all close by, with easy access to the highway within minutes. The underground parking with direct access to the suite is so convenient. Unfortunately, we have to leave suite 2102 tomorrow, but we will definitely be back soon. This resort truly has it all. It’s beautiful, conveniently located right off the highway, and the suites are spacious, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything you could need. But what truly sets it apart is the team that runs it—the staff are simply exceptional. We’ve stayed at many resorts over the years, but we’ve never experienced hospitality like this. When we left for the airport, I realized I’d forgotten my very expensive ring. It was too late to turn back, and I was devastated. But what happened next was incredible. Several members of the staff immediately began searching for it and stayed in touch with me by email throughout the process. When it wasn’t found right away, they didn’t give up—they kept looking every day. By the fourth day, I had accepted that it was gone for good. Then, on the fifth day, I received an email: they had found it! Their honesty, persistence, and genuine care amazed me. One of the staff (Martina Spinetti), ensured that the ring was packaged and shipped right away, keeping me informed of the tracking no. Marriott continues to prove itself as an organization built on integrity and class. From start to finish, their service was exceptional—both during our stay and even after we had left. Special mention should go to Samsahara Bigorre and Martina Spinetti for their dedication to help over the course of a few days If I could give them more than five stars, I absolutely would. We’ve come every year for the past 9 years for two weeks and it never disappoints. The best staff you could ask for, Davide and Roberto in particular. The rooms are clean and tidy. The pool area is upkept, it has two places by the pool to get drinks and food if you’re feeling peckish which is lovely. Quiz Nights and Aqua Areobics are the best!! Already can’t wait to come back next year 🍋🌊🐚
