Marriott Residences Salgados Resort

Fantastic stay at Marriott Residences Salgados Resort. Excellent food, spotless and spacious room, great service, and a lovely upgrade. Amazing value for an off-season price, we paid half what would have done in the summer. Big thank you to the apprentices at the restaurant. Highly recommended, we’ll definitely be back!

We’re currently stay here and we’re so happy with the staff, the room, the service. We got a free upgrade when we arrived the girl at reception was just amazing. The bar staff is really friendly and very helpful, beautiful people. My daughter plays with the little cat there best friends now 😂 . Thanks again for having us here. We we’ll be definitely back. It’s a big resort with a focus on being outdoor and pools. We’ve been here in the end of October and a lot of facilities have already been closed. Only the buffet restaurant was open and the train to the beach was already closed. I’m sure in high season with 3 restaurants (pizzeria opening next year) it’s a lot nicer. Pro: - 1BR-Suite was nice. - service at the restaurant was amazing, especially Arlindo at the breakfast service and the restaurant manager at breakfast (two female) and evening service (one male) we had - Facilities of the golf resort next door and the Westin can be used, that’s a plus - A lot of pools and loungers - breakfast was solid - the resort was already quite empty so we got a room upgrade with pool view Con - we had several issues with the room that have not been fixed during our 4 night stay. Reception wasn’t helpful here. - The dinner buffet was mediocre at best - it’s a four star resort and you notice that when there are no umbrellas when it’s raining or no room service - none of the pools are heated during low season. There is a spa at the Golf resort but it’s adults only and they charge 20€

The hotel is absolutely beautiful and modern.It has 4 pools, spa, restaurants, golf. The breakfast is amazing, one of the best I’ve had, they have honey from a honey comb and any food you could imagine. It’s important to highlight the wonderful reception we received from Ileiza at the front desk. She was so kind to upgrade our room to a sea view, and we loved it! Every night we watched the sunset over the ocean from our balcony. The room itself was also beautiful. Our whole experience here was top notch and we would highly recommend staying here, the longer the better, you won’t want to leave.

We had a lovely stay at the new Marriott Residences Salgados Resort, the apartment was very spacious and clean, with all the amenities and kitchen utensils for a great stay. The balcony is huge, with comfortable chairs to lounge on. The ambience of the resort is tranquil with a lot of space, with more than one pool and many sun loungers so it does not feel full. The staff is very friendly and helpful, always with a smile.
