Long Beach Golf & Spa Resort

We stayed 5 nights at the Long Beach resort and had an amazing experience from the minute we arrived. The staff were awesome, special mention to Yusrah who made us feel so welcome. She is friendly, highly efficient and has the most remarkable infectious smile. We looked forward to having breakfast lunch and dinner. The food was delicious and the general observation the cleanliness of the restaurant, rooms and pools. I will definitely be back and recommend the resort to my friends and family. It’s indeed like paradise.

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the staff. Everyone was incredibly kind and professional — from the front office team, restaurant staff, bar team, boat house staff to the security officers. They were always smiling, polite and ready to help. Their positive attitude truly made our stay extra special. I will not mention any specific names because honestly, every single staff member we met was equally wonderful and deserves recognition. The service was consistently excellent everywhere we went. The food was absolutely delicious with a great variety of choices. Every meal was fresh and full of flavour. A big compliment to the chefs and restaurant team for their excellent service. Our room was very clean, comfortable and well maintained. Housekeeping did a wonderful job. Thank you to the entire Long Beach team for making our stay so memorable. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back again!

NOT SAFE ON A HOTEL TERRITORY! We stayed at Long Beach Hotel in Mauritius in January 2026 and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience that completely ruined our stay. On two consecutive days, our belongings were stolen from the pool area inside the hotel. The first day, I had reserved chairs next to the main pool and left a white linen shirt on the chair while we went for breakfast. When we came back to swim, it was gone. The next day, the same thing happened again — this time my pareo was stolen from the same area. What shocked us most was not only the thefts themselves, but the hotel’s complete lack of response or care. When we reported both incidents, the only answer we received was: “We are sorry ma’am, we do not have cameras there.” No attempt to investigate further, no gesture of goodwill, no apology beyond that single sentence. For a 5-star resort, we expected at least some effort to handle the situation professionally — even a small gesture like a fruit plate, a note from management, or a shop credit would have shown basic hospitality and concern for guests’ safety. Instead, we felt dismissed and unsupported. Having items stolen twice in a supposedly secure luxury resort is unacceptable, and the lack of customer care afterward was even worse. Security around the main pool area clearly needs improvement, and staff training on how to handle guest complaints in a 5-star environment is seriously lacking. Sadly, this experience left a very negative impression and we would not return or recommend this hotel based on how this situation was handled.

We had a wonderful stay at Long Beach Hotel Mauritius! The view from our room was absolutely stunning and made our mornings extra special. The food was excellent, especially at Hasu and Chopsticks — both offered delicious dishes and great presentation. A special thank you to Rohan, the sommelier, who was fantastic and gave us perfect wine recommendations. Great service, beautiful surroundings, and amazing dining — we’d definitely return and highly recommend this hotel!

Everything is perfect, but we were expecting fresh exotic fruits such as, Mango lichi and maracuja.. we also wanted to taste fresh coconut. The only thing is that it is not varied enough. You should definitely add more fruits to local hotel All inclusive and more „exoticness” If you know what im talking about.
