JOIA Bávaro by Iberostar

My wife and I came here for our 14 year anniversary and had an Absolutely awesome time! Victor, our butler for the room, was awesome. He communicated very well stated on top of everything, went above and beyond for our anniversary. Every single time we came to the room there was some new little surprise to help make our anniversary special. He helped us move times around to make sure we were accommodated for. When we come back, we definitely want to have Victor again! The entire staff across all of the grounds were amazing as well. Always making sure that we were taking care of, and looked after. Everybody had a smile on their face and brought a lot of energy every day. Definitely recommend this hotel for an adults only stay!

First of all, our butlers Houston and Jose were outstanding!!! They were very attentive and informative! We were here celebrating our 33rd anniversary and their efforts contributed mightily to us thoroughly enjoying our stay! The entire team at Star Prestige was outstanding as well. The coordination of reservations (golf, spa, etc. ) transport to and from the airport and just helping ensure our entire party of 12 (6 of which are members) was phenomenal! The staff at all the restaurants, bars and even our chamber maid also went above and beyond for us all which truly made this a vacation to remember!!!

This resort is top notch! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Edward our butler was super accommodating and easy to access. The staff is super polite and everything is very clean. You can tell they all care for their jobs and take pride in keeping the resort feeling luxurious and exclusive. It was not over crowded either. The food was better than normal for all inclusive resorts. Our favorites being the Japanese restaurant (need reservations) and the Dominican restaurant. Drinks were premium and top shelf for all bar locations including the swim up bar. The rooms were kept clean and tidy with twice a day housekeeping service. Easy access to the beach and pool without feeling crowded and hard to get to. We wet in February and the weather was phenomenal. I highly recommend spending the extra money to go here rather than another all inclusive that cuts corners. You won’t be disappointed!

My husband and I went to JOIA with a group of 6 of us and we had a blast. The resort was so much fun, had amazing food, and the service/staff were amazing. The rooms were nice, however the 'ocean view' wasn't really an ocean view so not really worth the upgrade. We did the butler service and both Eduardo and Victor went above and beyond to make sure that we were taken care of. Snoop Dog and Sugar were really good at their job for the various activities that the resort provided. They were outgoing and hilarious. Altagracia made the best omelettes. I made sure to go to her everyday and she also helped me with my Spanish :) Henry was a great server. He would remember our group and was always checking in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. If you stay at JOIA, you have access to the 4 other resorts that are connected to it. There was a casino at one that had tables and slots and was a blast. The beaches were clean and always busy. I would highly recommend going to JOIA. We can't wait to go back!

We had a wonderful time at Joia Bavaro! We were celebrating a belated honeymoon, and from our very first hour at the resort, we were treated with such kindness. We were upgraded to a swim-out room and assigned a butler, which made the trip feel extra special. Our butler, Reynoldo, was amazing—so friendly and attentive. Anything we needed, he was more than happy to help with. The restaurant food was incredible, the pool area was relaxing, and the beach was picture-perfect with little to no seaweed. Overall, the staff, food, and location truly blew us away. We would definitely come back!
