My husband and I came here for lunch back in October. The setting and the ambiance of this restaurant were both outstanding. The dining room is light and bright with an absolutely incredible view and some vaguely Alice in wonderland vibes.
For food we opted to do the à la carte option as I preferred to do the vegetarian items (though I’m not a vegetarian) and you had to do the same tasting menu across the entire table. Truthfully, I found my dishes to be too rich and just ok while my husband’s courses were pretty wonderful. The coffee pici pasta and wild boar tortelli were specific stand outs.
Wonderful experience in an idyllic location but would go with the non vegetarian options if we were to go back.

Hospitality par excellence in paradise!
The words wonderful, unique, or one of a kind don't even come close to describing Il Falconiere – it is a paradise nestled in the heart of breathtaking nature. A paradise for the heart and the senses – you truly have to experience it for yourself to understand and feel it.
The entire estate is a dream; no matter where you look or where you go, you can feel the love that’s been poured into every detail. Even the chickens are treated with the highest respect at the 5-star “Eggcelsior” – and let me tell you, you can taste that love in the breakfast eggs each morning.
Breakfast was simply divine. We would stroll from our suite (which, by the way, is like a dream home – when the morning sun streams through the windows, the curtains gently sway in the breeze, and the view opens onto the Tuscan landscape, it feels like something out of a movie – there's no better way to wake up), following the delicious aromas, and arrive at what is probably the most beautiful breakfast space we've ever seen. Calling it a room doesn’t do it justice – it's a true location. If I were to get married and could choose a venue for the dinner, this would be it.
But what truly perfects the resort is the team. They don’t just welcome and take care of their guests – they embrace them like family. The service is flawless, yet never stiff – always warm, genuine, and from the heart. Simply outstanding.
If I had to define perfect hospitality, Il Falconiere would be the prime example.
We felt absolutely at home in this paradise – and we will definitely be back

Spend the money. It is worth every penny. We spent five nights there for our daughter’s wedding and it was magical. Of course the food is great given their Michelin starred restaurant, but the reason to stay is for the beauty of the place. The rooms are great as is the service. Don’t miss drinks on the patio with the best bartender in Italy, Daniella. If you need to plan a wedding as we did, Giada is sure to exceed the expectations of the most demanding bride.
If time allows have dinner at their rustic, traditional sister restaurant, Locanda Il Molino. Our evening there including grape stomping and dancing, really. It was one of the most memorable in all my trips to Italy. Anna Maria and Stefano ensure that everyone has a wonderful night.

We stayed at il Falconiere and the experience was extremely disappointing from beginning to end.
There was no proper welcome—just a drop-off at our room with no tour of the property, spa, pool, or even directions to the restaurant. Staff seemed uninterested and unhelpful throughout the stay.
We traveled with our 2-year-old daughter, and this hotel was absolutely not kid-friendly. There were no accommodations, amenities, or services that made families feel welcome or comfortable.
We also spent $680 on food, and every meal was served cold. For that price, the quality and service were completely unacceptable.
The hotel itself is small and underwhelming, and the customer service was the worst we’ve experienced in our travels.
I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel.

A lovely hotel in an unbeatable location that is worthy of all 5 stars. The staff are very passionate about what they do and you can feel the friendliness and passion as soon as you arrive. The hotel is a perfect mix of authentic rustic charm with modern comforts and amenities. The diffused concept of the hotel allows for a little piece of heaven and pure relaxation in every corner no matter what room you have. We enjoyed the food at the restaurant, and the portions were larger than we were expecting. The wine they make on property really wowed us, and we weren’t expecting such high quality and delicious wines for a very reasonable price to purchase as well as for the tasting. I look forward to coming back in the future!!
