Hotel Montis

A fantastic 4-star sports hotel in Riscone featuring a sleek Alpine atmosphere, an outstanding wellness area, and a gym, only 500 meters from the Kronplatz lifts. The hotel offers a continuous shuttle service for maximum convenience and provides secure underground parking for guests. The charming town of Bruneck is just 2.8 km away (about a 6-minute drive) and offers excellent shopping and a great selection of restaurants and cafés. Impeccably clean, modern, and professionally managed — the perfect base for an active ski holiday with refined Alpine comfort.

Excellent service overall, with especially helpful restaurant staff. Our waiter gave us fantastic local wine recommendations, and the gentleman at the eggs/waffles station was very friendly and welcoming — a great way to start the morning. We stayed over the Christmas period, and the hotel offered many lovely festive touches: mulled wine and biscotti after dinner, live music on several nights, and prosecco with finger food before dinner — all included in our stay. The food was delicious. We had half board, which was very convenient. I especially enjoyed the pumpkin ravioli for dinner. Breakfast was so versatile - you'd never be bored. Heated ski lockers were a great bonus. There are also shuttles to the ski lifts — there is always a bus available, and the ride takes about 2 minutes. Only once did we wait around 10–15 minutes, but that was in the evening from the hotel to the lifts, which I guess is unusual for that time of day. Finally, many small details made our stay extra enjoyable, such as the bookshelves, billiard, and other games. Rooms were clean and tidy, but rather tired, especially the bathroom. We didn’t mind it as we spent most of our time outside and the food + service totally made up for it.

Amazing spa and pool area! I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The highlight was definitely the pool and spa area—it's beautifully designed, clean, and incredibly relaxing. It’s the perfect place to unwind after a long day.

My stay at Hotel Montis was relaxing, comfortable, and exactly what I hoped for in the Dolomites. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere felt calm and welcoming, surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery.

Her warmth and positivity radiate through every interaction, she has a natural ability to lift your spirits, even on the most difficult days. Astrid’s professionalism is matched by her heartfelt hospitality, creating an atmosphere where every guest feels genuinely cared for. She is a true asset to the hotel, and I would wholeheartedly recommend this place not only for its comfort and services, but especially for the outstanding people like Astrid and other staff who make the experience exceptional.
