Als Philosoph, Naturliebhaber und in jeder Hinsicht freier Geist inspirierte er die Eigentümer , einen Ort zu schaffen, der mitten in der Natur zum Aufleben, Entspannen und Genießen einlädt: das Hotel FREIgeist. In absoluter Ruhe liegt im Waldgebiet am Northeimer Wieter das komplett umgebaute, ehemalige Waldhotel Gesundbrunnen. Eingebettet in herrlicher, natürlicher Umgebung, mit wundervollem Karpfenteich ist es gleichzeitig Rückzugsraum und Ausgangspunkt für Aktivitäten jeglicher Art.

A decent eco hotel. The only complaint is that they didn't have air circulation in the room. Luckily we managed to get a fan. Apart from that, a very nice hotel and a wonderful place to stay. If I even go back, I know exactly where to rest my weary head.

I was traveling several times a year due to my business. And it was nice Hotel before. Last few visits were very disappointing. Less food sortiment on breakfast and sometimes they forget to clean the room.

Nice location and fantastic view into the woods. Unfortunately the staff at Reception is sometimes friendly and sometimes doesn't care at all. The restaurant setting is precious, but the menu needs a review as it has only very view choices. Even so the food is good. Breakfast has everything in needs, but I was missing a smile and happy greating from the waiter in the morning - seams she didn't have a good night at all. Overall recommendable, but dont expect too much either.

We did a booking with the wrong date via an online booking platform and the hotel did everything to welcome us even though we showed up on the wrong date. Very nice place and very service minded people. Thumbs up from us.
