Hotel Ermatingerhof

I've been living at Ermatingerhof for eight months now. The location is ideal, just a five-minute walk from the train station and the nearby supermarket. And let's not forget the public swimming pool, which is easily accessible on foot. Our delightful housekeeper, who lovingly decorates the place twice a week and has a real knack for cleanliness, is invaluable. Mrs. Kastner, the owner, is a very friendly and kind landlady. Overall, the price-performance ratio is absolutely fair. You know your neighbors and everyone has a good, friendly relationship. Thank you for the wonderful time in Ermatingen.

My move from the UK to Switzerland was made super easy by taking a room at Ermatingerhof! Patricia, who runs the place, is very friendly and helpful and booking a room is easy and uncomplicated. Everything is extremely well set up and whatever you need is at hand and available. In addition to your own room there is a lot of extra space in the communal areas, indoors and outdoors, as well as convenient parking right behind the house. The house is quiet, clean and in a great location with a very good infrastructure and only a few strides from beautiful Lake Constance! Kreuzlingen and Konstanz are in close proximity, very convenient for shopping. The rooms with en-suite bathrooms are super comfy and beautifully furnished with high quality furniture and neutral, tasteful decor; so by scattering a few personal belongings it feels like home to home in an instant. The nice thing is that you can be as private as you wish or connect with others while cooking and eating. There are people around but there is never any pressure to socialise. I was greatly helped by the friendly people in the house in how to deal with Swiss bureaucracy and other practical things. Due to all the useful information I was able to set myself up within a very short time. That was of huge value to me. I highly recommend Ermatingerhof as a great and enjoyable place to work and live. Conveniently located as it's in the main roads (except that the road is currently under construction nowadays) large parking space, well maintained, comfy like a home away from home... there's a big conference room, 1medium-sized meeting room, a shared office facility too. Both indoor and outdoor seating are very convenient.

I had a really good experience in Ermatingerhof! It’s located in a beautiful village with all the essencial services near. In the hotel everything is very well organized and clean, and has everything you need (laundry room, business room, kitchen, terrace, etc.) The hotel has a lot shared spaces inside and also a beautiful terrace. The environment of the hotel is very good and calm, everyone was really nice to me!
