Hotel du Vin St Andrews

This hotel is currently suffering major noise and disruption from excavation works and building works from the next door building ;not much they can do but unfair they are hiding this from people booking. Be honest with people and let them decide .When I left I was informed the manager would contact me. Never happened. I note their played down response from previous review: This work will last a while so for now book somewhere else.

Just stayed for one night but a lovely hotel to stay in. The team there were amazing and couldn't be more welcoming. Location is perfect for exploring St Andrews. Would check room availability here first before anywhere else if we are staying in St Andrews again.

Wonderful stay with my two dogs at Christmas time. Hotel is so accommodating for pups and everyone made us feel so welcome. Breakfast was also brilliant and location is superb for both the beach and the town. Easy parking right at the hotel but think this would be more difficult during peak season. Rooms on 2nd floor are attic rooms with velux windows with rooftop views so advice would be to request a lower floor if you would prefer a proper window. Overall amazing stay, wonderful friendly staff and dogs had the best time. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Gorgeous hotel in a brilliant location right by the ocean. A number of things make it a frustrating stay tho including the stairs at the front where you have to drag suitcases up and down. The lift was out during our stay, again super frustrating. But the staff were kind enough to carry our two huge bags up three levels. So kind. For a hotel from this group we felt like the staff needed better training, we had to ask for the wifi, ask for the restaurant details and so on. The heating in the room was off and on and we had to ask for it to be attended to twice. And there was no moisturiser in the room which in winter was annoying. Before check in an email arrived asking if we wanted to upgrade which I found distasteful. This could be the best hotel in St Andrew’s but needs some attention to detail.

We had a wonderful one night stay at the Hotel du Vin in St. Andrews. We upgraded our room to the junior suite with a sea view and it was such a beautiful, immaculately clean room with a gorgeous view. The hotel is located in a perfect location just down the street from the Old Course. The breakfast in the morning had great options and was delicious. We would love to come back sometime!
