Hotel Alicante Golf

I had a great experience staying here! Food was great and the staff were really helpful

Nice room, helpful staff, all good but.. some incompetent manager figured out a strange rule to take 200 euro deposit as if me and my family was supposed to break something and don’t pay for the damage. Such lack of trust results in a -1 star rating from me. They claim it’s a standard procedure but I’m a frequent hotel guest and not a youngster anymore and that’s the first time I see such nonsense rule. If I didn’t have a rehearsal party here I would choose a different hotel.

Room is very nice, however if it faces the street you will hear cars, people and music at night. Very nice shower facilities. Service is very good, many breakfast options but just one coffee machine which can get busy. Lunch options are good however if you don't want fish options you'll need to plan ahead with the staff for buffet service. Pool area is very nice.

The hotel itself was nice outside, but I found that most of the services were quite slow. From the reception to the restaurant everything seemed to take longer than expected. With a bit more efficiency, the overall experience could be much better.

Myself and my Fiancée stayed with Hotel Alicante Golf In April 2025, to receive medical treatment in Alicante. We had booked with an independent site and were worried we were potentially scammed, however the hotel were kind enough to confirm our reservation before we left. The hotel itself was super close to the tram line, so getting there was very easy, and upon arrival we were greeted with a beautiful foyer and reception desk. The staff were extremely friendly and check in was wonderful. We knew beforehand that the pool and spa were not available due to ongoing work, and reception staff confirmed this again, sincerely apologising. We were given room 402, which was very nice. We did request a double bed, but the room had 2 single beds which we just decided to go with. It was not a big deal to us. The view from the room was amazing, overlooking the golf course! We did try to put on the air conditioning since it was quite hot, however it would not turn on. We enquired with reception and they said it was turned off for the entire hotel as it was April and out of season. But they did provide us with an electric fan. We understand people might complain about the bed or air conditioning issue, but these things happen, and were not a big deal to us. We had a wonderful stay at the hotel, and a great time in Alicante. We will be returning at the end of June, and will happily stay with Hotel Alicante Golf again.
