My wife and I have just returned home, to Wales, from a holiday in Marbella. We have been fortunate to have arranged, with Marbella Golf and Country Club, a one month membership allowing 20 rounds of golf (unfortunately, due to less than perfect weather conditions, we only managed 17). However, we both loved the course! The front 9 winds its way through the hills - it’s obvious why buggies are essential - while the back 9 is more like a traditional parkland course with bunkers and water hazards. The course, overall, we found to be a very enjoyable, testing, one with great views, especially on the front 9. It’s a course that could never be boring, no matter how often you play it. In good condition, despite more than usual wet weather (January) in Spain. Some days buggies restricted to the paths which entailed more exercise playing the ball if on far side of fairway! The clubhouse is impressive and all staff we met very friendly, welcoming and efficient. It’s maybe not fair to single out individuals, as ladies on reception, marshalls, buggy “managers” were excellent, but special mention should be made of Derek (one of the marshalls) and, also, the young lady (Sabrina?) in charge of the mobile refreshment buggy. Both were exceptionally welcoming, friendly and a credit to the Club. All in all, our golfing experience was perfect. We hope that we may be able to revisit in the future sometime. Thank you, Alan & Annette.

A challenging hilly front 9, which gets easier on the back 9. Club house is very nice. A few holes need a little work to tidy them up.

Club house and staff are great, course, very average. Whole day felt very rushed, this affected all of our games. We were asked to miss a hole and go back to it to relieve some of the congestion. Would have been better to let 1 group though. Probably won't be back again

Very nice golf course in the heart of Marbella. The course was in great shape, I really liked the front 9 with some very good views, the driving range and putting green are a bit too small. The view from the restaurant is very nice but we didn’t try the food so no idea… I recommend to try this course.
