The Grand Hyatt La Manga it’s a beautiful hotel truly five star and the staff are extremely friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. From the moment that we arrived for our four nights stay we felt at Home. We were greeted with a drink and were checked quickly and efficiently in the lounge. We will show to our room which was very nice room with a balcony overlooking the Golf courses. we were here to play three rounds of Golf on each of their courses. The first day we played the south course then the north course then the West Course. I will review the individual courses separately but for now it’s enough to say all Three courses are beautiful. The hotel has several restaurants we ate in Luigi’s the first night, a lovely Italian restaurant the second night we ate in the Asian restaurant, wonderful ambience and food, third night we ate in the steak restaurant once again wonderful food and service, we returned to Luigi‘s for our last evening meal where we had probably the best lasagna ever!

This is a luxurious golf resort near the ocean with a really nice hotel staff from the reception to the restaurants. I don't play golf but the golf course looks very pleasant and relaxing. The breakfast buffet restaurant is amomg the best of all the hotel breakfast places I have experienced in Europe because of the wide selection of local and typical breakfast selections, and the very enjoyable and relaxing panoramic view of the golf course, and the amazingly friendly service staff. And the Japanese sushi omakase bar was a gem along hotel restaurants. It is great and you should try it if you like sushi! I came for the spa since the pictures of the spa looked amazing but unfortunately when I arrived, they told me the spa was closed for maintenance. The operations director Carmen told me that was an unexpected closure, and apologized and took care of the night's stay and my dinner, and wouldn't let me pay. The way they handled the closure situation was very professional and generous that erased my initial disappointment. I will definitely will come back another time to enjoy the resort and the spa!

I was a little bit disappointed as its supposed to be a 5 star hotel. What wonders me the most there's no toilet brush in the room and it's really disturbing. I have never expected that you need to pay for a drinking water and coffee in the room. It's usually given for free even in a 3 star hotels. The receptionist was very friendly and gave us many useful tips.

A stay at the Grand Hyatt begins with a delightful check-in experience, where a reception team member welcomes guests with prosecco and towelettes, provides an overview of the property, and ensures a warm, home-like atmosphere. Our group occupied three different rooms, ranging from standard twin rooms to suites, all featuring sofa beds, luxurious bathrooms, spacious balconies, and high-quality furnishings. The sofa beds were exceptionally comfortable, a rare find indeed. Although the rooms were outstanding, one suite’s rainforest shower head was in poor condition, spraying water in multiple directions during use. Guests in suites and those with Globalist status can enjoy a delicious, complimentary breakfast featuring a variety of local Spanish dishes. The staff is exceptionally friendly, with Cati being a delightful presence each morning. Additionally, the club lounge offers a light selection of afternoon tea options and a generous tapas spread from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM, including excellent seafood and other delectable items. While the hotel’s free parking is a significant advantage, the strict pool/spa hours and capacity limits can be frustrating, particularly when entry is denied due to overcrowding. The gym is spacious and well-equipped, providing ample space for stretching, numerous yoga mats, and a wide range of exercise equipment. Situated on a golf course, the hotel grounds are beautiful, ideal for running and walking, with a driving range conveniently located nearby for guests with clubs. All five members of our party thoroughly enjoyed the stay, as well as exploring the nearby towns and hiking trails. We would be delighted to return on future visits to the area.

In general I have to say it's a brilliant place to relax and everything. So only one complain what I have to mention is that you have to pay for the coffee cups in the room, each 5 €. Usually in any other Hyatt where I have been it was for free use and refilled every day. Also no information that you need to pay in the room. Service brilliant, rooms brilliant and the location was brilliant.
