Grand Hyatt Dubai

I stayed at Grand Hyatt Dubai, a 5-star hotel located around 10 minutes from Dubai International Airport, and overall it was a very positive experience. The hotel is also clearly well set up for large business events and conferences, which was exactly my case, as I was there for a congress with around 2,000 people.  Starting with the interiors, the hotel makes a strong impression. The lobby is beautiful, spacious, and elegant, with a striking architectural design, high ceilings, and a large indoor garden that gives the whole property a refined and relaxing atmosphere. 🌿 My room was very nice: spacious, quiet, and well designed, with warm wood finishes, soft lighting, and a very comfortable bed. The seating area made the room feel even more welcoming, and I also appreciated the desk space, the coffee machine, the kettle, and the thoughtful welcome amenities such as fruit, water, and chocolates. 🛏️☕ The bathroom was another highlight: large, modern, spotless, and finished with beautiful marble, with both a generous shower area and a very elegant overall look. The housekeeping was truly exceptional: cleanliness went beyond expectations, and every day all the metal fixtures in the bathroom were carefully polished, leaving them spotless and completely free of fingerprints. ✨ The view from the room was also very pleasant, with an open city perspective that made the stay feel even more special. 🏙️ One of the biggest positives for me was the range of facilities. This is not just a hotel, but a real large-scale property with many restaurants and excellent support for business travelers and conference guests. The breakfast was extremely rich, with a huge variety of products and a lot of choice. There were also many dining options for lunch, dinner, and breaks during the event, with very good international food throughout the hotel. I also found the Italian restaurant excellent. 🍽️ Grand Hyatt Dubai highlights its award-winning restaurants, large event spaces, and spa facilities, which matches my experience very well.  Another major plus was the spa and especially the gym. The fitness area was large, spacious, and very well equipped. 💪 For most of the stay it was excellent. 🚨The only negative point was that on one of the last days the gym was full of very heavy dust, apparently because of works happening nearby. It was noticeable enough that I reported it, and this definitely should be handled better. Also there was sometimes a slightly strange smell, something between closed air and humidity. It was not dramatic, but it is something the hotel should address because it slightly affects the first impression coming into the gym. Service was impeccable throughout the stay. The staff were professional, efficient, and always helpful, especially considering the size of the hotel and the number of guests. 👏 Overall, this is a very solid luxury hotel in Dubai: elegant interiors, very comfortable rooms, excellent food options, outstanding conference capacity, and very good wellness facilities.

Warning to families: Half Board does not include main buffet as advertised! We are only on our first day and already facing a major issue that other families with young children need to be aware of before booking this hotel. We booked Half Board on the clear understanding that dinner at the main hotel buffet, The Market Café, was included. This is exactly how it was advertised at the time of booking. However, on arrival we were told we are not allowed to use the main buffet for dinner. Instead, we are restricted to a very limited set-menu choice of pizza, Chinese or Indian. For families with small children this is completely impractical. Our children are 5 and 2, and Chinese and Indian set menus are simply not suitable for them. This leaves us with almost no realistic options for feeding them for the next 6 nights, despite having paid for Half Board specifically so they could eat from a varied buffet. When we raised this with reception, we showed written proof from our booking confirming that the buffet dinner at The Market Café was included. The response was rude, dismissive and completely uninterested in trying to resolve the problem or even acknowledge the misleading advertising. There was no concern shown at all for our children’s needs or wellbeing. We now have nearly a full week ahead of us worrying about what our children will eat each evening, in a hotel that appears not to care about either honouring what was sold to us or supporting families. Based on this experience, we could not in good conscience recommend this hotel to any family travelling with young children.

I had a wonderful experience at the Grand Hyatt. The hotel itself is beautiful, clean, and very well maintained, with excellent hospitality throughout my stay. I would especially like to appreciate Mr. Ahmed from the security team. He is extremely helpful, kind, and very polite. He is attentive, and ready to assist with a warm smile. His professionalism and positive attitude truly reflect the high standards of the Grand Hyatt. It’s staff members like Ahmed who make a stay memorable. Highly recommended hotel, and special thanks again to Ahmed for his outstanding support!

We had a wonderful stay at Grand Hyatt. Everything was excellent from start to finish. The service was outstanding, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere was calm and relaxing. The room was clean, beautiful, comfortable, and very quiet with no disturbance at all. We truly enjoyed our stay. Special thanks to Pankaj, Anand, Fayiz, Hasnat, Vikrant, and Merin for their kindness, professionalism, and great hospitality. Definitely not our last visit — we will come back again, inshallah. Authentic and warm hospitality experience. We have stayed here twice and both time it felt like a home away from home. From the folks at the entrance to reception, room service staff and all other ground staff and the ones in waterpark keep this huge place working like a n immaculate machine. Everything at its prime. Best part is the market restaurant. we had breakfast and dinner served there and WOW to the waitstaff. Looking after you just like their own family. In Both occasions we had the pleasure of meeting and being served by Lissa. A true legend, treating us to the highest and warmest standards. Our daughters love her. Not to forget all other names like Sonam, Faiz , Claris, Naman and Mohit who made our stay fabulous. You feel authentic and old fashioned hospitality here like nowhere else.
