Gorah Elephant Camp

Unforgettable Safari experience with knowledgable guides in the wonderful Addo national park. Lodge is situated around a waterhole where hundreds of animals drink water every day (elephants, zebras, lions, rhinos, ostriches, warthogs, kudus, etc.) Nice luxury tents that allow an authentic experience of „sleeping in the wild“.

Gorah was an experience of a lifetime! We felt like royalty. Definitely one of our favourite stays. The staff were absolutely amazing (Donald, Simoné, Kevin, Siya. Nelly and Ellie - as well as all the staff behind the scenes.) Everything was catered for and the small touches of arrival and bedtime notes as well as sweet treats placed on the bed and hot water bottles at night made all the difference for a winter stay. Thank you Gorah!

Our expectations were truly exceeded at Gorrah. We had an amazing three night stay and the staff were absolutely fantastic - shout out to Justin, Elizabeth, Donald, Siya and Cheryl (and everyone else). Nothing was too much for them and they accommodated our every request. The food was absolutely delicious and the team kindly worked around all our dietary requirements. The lodge is situated around a watering hole in the middle of the bush and you truly experience the beauty of nature - stumbling across zebras walking to the tent to watching elephants whilst eating breakfast. Justin, our ranger was a fountain of knowledge, patiently explaining everything we were seeing and ensuring that we got the best from the experience. A huge thank you to the whole team for giving us memories of a lifetime.

Our stay at Gorah this past weekend was nothing short of spectacular. Every single staff member is friendly and will go out of their way to help you. The personal touch to each activity and the hand written notes make the entire experience very special. The staff really did go above and beyond to make our stay special and memorable.

The BEST of the best! We have travelled the world and been to amazing places and stayed at luxurious hotels, but Gorah was so far the best experience we ever had! This place is just magical! We loved and enjoyed every second of our stay. The staff is fantastic, the game drives with our guide Kevin were an exceptional experience! We absolutely fell in love with Gorah and will come back for sure!
