Gondwana Game Reserve

We did Gondwana on a holiday to Cape Town and it did not disappoint. 4 hours drive from Cape Town may put some people off but it didn’t not feel that long. The place is amazing and we had Kelvin as our guide. We must have asked close to 500 questions over the 3 days and he answered every single one with professionalism and great knowledge. He made sure we were warm and we got to see all the animals possible. He is an asset for any establishment to have. We stayed in the lodges and they were amazing, spotless and every ask was done quickly! Thanks Kelvin and all the staff at Gondwana for a great 2nights/3days.

We had a fantastic 3 night visit last week with our family. House was really nice, with a plunge pool which was lovely when the sun came out. Food is excellent and they were able to cater to my wife’s garlic allergy. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We had Eugene as our guide who was incredibly knowledgeable and went the extra mile to ensure we saw everything we wanted to. Highly recommend Gondwana.

Amazing experience! We stayed at one of the cabins at Lehele. We loved our experience, everybody was very nice and accommodating, and the game drives were incredible, we saw 4 of the big 5 and more. Our ranger, AJ, was amazing, he had true passion for his job and knew what he was doing. He definitely made our experience very memorable! The only thing that they can improve on is food which we found it average.

We stayed for two nights and were absolutely delighted. The place is very luxurious and the food is delicious—nothing is left to be desired. The staff are extremely friendly and attentive. A very special thank-you goes to Timothy, our guide. He is so passionate and dedicated, and he truly impressed us with his knowledge and his philosophy of life. A truly exceptional person! We had a wonderful two days here. From the moment we arrived everything was taken care of. The safari drives were incredible seeing a wide variety of animals. The reserve was stunning with amazing valleys and plains. Our guide Anya was brilliant, so much knowledge about the reserve and animals. The food was delicious, with a wide variety of options. Our room was stunning and comfortable. Well worth the 4 hour drive from Cape Town. Thank you Gondwana! X
