Golfclub Hochschwarzwald

I played here recently while on holidays from Ireland. The staff in the office were really friendly, as were the members, who I met out on the course, who were more than happy to have a chat. Really enjoyed the course, challenging in places, and the greens were perfect.

Best Golf Pro ever. Cyril is very experienced and able to work with kids and adults in a very professional manner. He eliminated few long lasting mistakes and improved our Golf skills significantly in short period of time. Thanks a lot Cyril!

Very nice course for a some tourist golf. Embedded in a very pleasant landscape of the Black Forest, the first 9 holes lead through forest and past old farms, the back nine are quite compact (only par-3 and par-4s in this part) resulting in an overall quite short (par 68) yet ambitious course with several doglegs and some narrow fairways. A short but very well maintained course, with very friendly staff... The front 9 are long, and I found holes 4 and 8 very challenging. The back 9 are far closer, but still tricky. Recommended...

Don't do it - super unfriendly staff! Save yourself the trip and hassle, there are better clubs to play not far from there. If you are not member of a club elsewhere in the world and / or you didn't bother taking your membership card with you - then they won't let you play, no matter how low your handicap is. That's after you traveled all the way and nobody bothered to state such rules on the phone when you first booked...! Other local clubs are on the other hand much more helpful and those rules do not apply - enjoy playing elsewhere where you are not also bothered by a very busy road close by.
