Beautiful location, it's a shame that during the winter season the entrance is not well signposted, because you risk going to the parking lot on the other side and getting lost. A sign indicating the direction to take would be enough. Fixed-menu dinner, abundant buffet appetizers (a bit cheap), first courses served at the table, dessert buffet (delicious friars). For the variety and quality of what was served (and for the fact that throughout the evening we had to chase the waiters for water), I would give three stars overall, giving 4 just for the location.

The 18 holes were played. The course itself is quite nice and flat, making it very easy to play on foot with a trolley. The holes are pleasant and relatively easy to play. A few nice water hazards and bunkers require some planning, but otherwise it's fairly straight. The greens are very slow, but they allow for an excellent and straight game, with hardly any breaks. The condition is good; only a few greens and fairways were not quite as well maintained. The signage to the next hole could be improved. Carts are allowed on the fairway, but it's best to ignore the signposts. There are plenty of water lovers who are hardly bothered by the food. Deductions for friendliness, service, and planning. You didn't really feel welcome. And €80 per person plus €45 for a cart is too much for the facility and the course in the off-season. Especially since we were told to return the cart before 6:30 p.m. That wouldn't have been a problem with the originally booked tee time, but then there were suddenly several carts and players, which delayed our start. The rather slow play on the first 9 holes was only moderately enjoyable, especially since the next few holes were also pushing hard. We had the second half entirely to ourselves. However, the back section isn't quite as well-maintained. There doesn't seem to be any real rule regarding tee times. Whoever is there plays. The app and booked times are more of a rough guide. So, at times, there were 3-4 flights on one hole: green-fairway-tee-off-and-waiting. That wasn't fun, but when the course is empty, it's fun again. The surrounding area and the approach past Livorno aren't exactly the most scenic either. All in all, it's OK for a round, and we even returned the cart in time.

A truly enchanting place: clean, quiet, comfortable beds, excellent food, reasonable prices, and a very large pool. Also great for families with children. Recommended!
