Constance Prince Maurice

We stayed for the second time now at the Constance Prince Maurice and had again a truly wonderful experience. The service throughout the hotel is outstanding ... attentive, warm and genuinely caring, yet never intrusive. You immediately feel welcomed and looked after, not like a customer, but like a true guest. The entire team deserves the highest praise: incredibly friendly, professional and always present at the right moment. The food was excellent, the rooms were beautiful, and the whole resort is immaculate and very well maintained. Top marks for service quality and, above all, a huge thank you to the amazing staff who made our stay so special. We are definitely planning to return again.

Unforgettable anniversary stay at a true paradise We were gifted this wonderful stay at Constance Prince Maurice by our children to celebrate our wedding anniversary and it truly felt like the most thoughtful, heartfelt present imaginable. Knowing our son Olaf was interning at the resort (though not on duty during our visit) made it even more special. Being able to share such a magical experience together, made possible by them, added an extra layer of joy and gratitude to every moment. From the moment we arrived, the welcome was warm and personal. Cas from the front desk greeted us with genuine kindness and gave us a lovely tour of the resort, ending at our stunning Junior Suite on stilts (room 11), with the most beautiful view over the lagoon. The room was perfect in every way and made our stay extra special. The entire property is impeccably maintained and offers so many wonderful facilities. We particularly enjoyed an excellent wine tasting session led by Suman, who introduced us to some truly remarkable wines with great knowledge and enthusiasm. We also had a fantastic round of golf on the beautiful Links course, highly recommended! The highlight of our evenings was dinner at Barachois, the unique floating restaurant surrounded by mangroves. The setting is magical, the food outstanding, and the service impeccable. Service Manager Kaveesh took genuine interest in our experience, which really showed how much quality and guest satisfaction matter here. A special thank you to Cas and the entire team. They went above and beyond to make our stay truly unforgettable. Everything felt thoughtful, attentive, and heartfelt. We’re already dreaming of coming back and staying longer next time. If you’re looking for luxury, serenity, exceptional service. Constance Prince Maurice is simply outstanding.

We visited this resort as a couple for our honeymoon in late August 2025. A true luxury escape distinguished by impeccable, proactive service. The staff are highly professional and accommodating. The beach service is top-tier: as soon as you arrive, sun loungers are prepared with fresh towels, cold water is served, and they even clean your sunglasses for you. The resort is fully embedded in lush tropical plants, creating a wonderfully relaxing and serene atmosphere. Complemented by a stunningly beautiful beach, the entire setting feels like a private natural sanctuary. We can recommend this hotel without restriction and would love to come back.

We chose Constance Prince Maurice for one of the hotels to stay during our honeymoon. By the time we were leaving, we wished we have stayed for 16 nights, instead of only 6! In fact, when the reception staff learned that we are there for our honeymoon during our check-in, they provided us with a complimentary dinner at the Barachois restaurant at a later evening, which was a very nice gesture. The hotel is located in an isolated area in the northeast of Mauritius. It has an amazing, very well maintained landscape that you feel like you are wandering in a tropical paradise. I brought both my camera and my drone to the hotel and could not stop taking photos or filming the hotel itself. We stayed in one of the Beachfront Junior Suites overlooking the east, and it was a great decision. The sun rises directly into the room, so you can witness amazing views each morning. Since this part of the hotel is usually not used by any other customers, you essentially have your own beach to relax and enjoy. The room itself was amazing as well. Ours was a 80-90 m2 suite (I think this is the standard room across the hotel) and everything was very comfortable and clean. What makes this resort a true jewel is the staff - from the gardeners to the cleaners to the waiters to the reception staff. We could easily feel that they were there to make our stay at Constance Prince Maurice was as comfortable as possible. I would positively call out the two waiters working in the Lap Pool area where we stayed during most of our trip. They provided exceptional service and would quickly come up with solutions for any issues we might have. The restaurants - we had great experiences across all 3 restaurants. Le Barachois is really special with its unique setting - floating islands on top of the lagoon. Archipel has great food and an excellent wine list - I don't remember ever seeing such a good selection of Burgundy wine! Finally, Asian is a good option when you want to try something different. One thing I wish I could change would be the sea. It's unfortunately not the best - there is definitely better beaches or water in Mauritius - but not much can be done about it. There are seaweeds and rocks in the main swimming area, which is fine, as it shows that it's clean water with sea life. However, it's not the turquoise coloured, pure white sand beach you might expect from a tropical island.

My family and myself spent an absolutely amazing vacation at the hotel. Great thanks to the management and reception team who considered all my requests paying attention to many extra things which are not available in over 5 star hotels around the world. Restaurant team was doing outstanding job all the time. We visited all restaurants at the hotel and food and their service was truly excellent and provided on high standard level. This hotel would be a perfect choice for families with kids as hotel has got a great kids club with awesome team who is ready to help you taking care of your kid any time. Excellent and outstanding work guys over all. Keep it up! The place we definitely want to come back again!
