I stayed in Mariott at the end of January. Here are some of the impressions i got during that stay.
Missing Amenities: There were no shoe-cleaning supplies provided.
Bedding Issues: There was only one very thin blanket for two people; a second one could not be found anywhere. There was also a missing pillow.
Minibar & Water: The minibar was completely empty. We were only provided with one bottle of water for two people.
Unexpected Charges: We were charged €40 per person for breakfast without being informed of the cost in advance. (We were entitled to breakfast in the 10th-floor lounge, but guests with Executive status are typically allowed to eat in the hotel restaurant as well).
Safety & Lighting: The room lacked night lighting, and with the blackout curtains, it was pitch black. This resulted in an injury in the dark.
Inadequate First Aid: The hotel's "first aid" consisted of two young staff members who lacked basic first aid skills (such as wound disinfection and cleaning) and had no proper supplies in their medical kit. One of them attempted to apply a blister plaster to the wound with dirty hands. There was no disinfectant in the first aid kit, and the hotel offered no further assistance

Had a fantastic stay at Berlin Marriott Hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff were genuinely friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. That kind of service really sets the tone for the whole stay.
The rooms are impressively spacious, modern, and very comfortable — perfect to relax after a day exploring the city. The décor throughout the hotel is beautiful and elegant, giving it a stylish yet warm atmosphere.
Breakfast was a real highlight — an excellent spread with plenty of variety and high quality options to start the day right. Definitely something to look forward to every morning.
Location-wise, it couldn’t be better. Being so centrally located makes it easy to get around and visit Berlin’s main attractions without hassle.
Overall, a wonderful hotel experience combining comfort, design, great food, and outstanding service. Would happily stay again!

Possibly one of the most convenient locations in the city. Great walkable area filled with small restaurants and some shopping nearby. Some hidden gem coffee shops. The hotel itself is one of the nicer Marriotts for a "basic" business hotel.

We had a fantastic stay at the Berlin Marriott. Many thanks to Nicole Fuchs who ensured our visit was so memorable. We loved the Christmas decor, swimming pool, sauna, and infrared treatment rooms, and the truly spectacular breakfast. The Marriott team ensured our large family with four kids had adjoining rooms and went above and beyond. Highly recommend! The location can’t be beat with ample restaurants nearby and proximity to all the Berlin sites.

Well located, modern looking and decently priced. Overall it was a decent experience for those not fussy. Not sure if I would stay again unless I see improvements.
Beneath the stylish exterior, many design choices and service standards are much to be desired.
1. Not a fan of the revolving door.
2. Cleanliness is disappointing, dusty and not sure the sheets are cleaned daily.
3. Seems under staffed, so the service is a mixed bag, some good some bad. Check-in counter staff was rude.
4. The rooms spacious with the usual minimum amenities. But all the lights are operated by one switch, so I can't select which light I want on or off, it's all or none which is ridiculous. The toilet design is a safety hazard, nearly slipped and fell several times getting in and out of the bathtub to shower and no handles to help you at all.
5. Cleanliness is questionable, dusty and not sure if towels or sheets cleaned thoroughly.
6. Breakfast was ok but not enough staff to service a full crowd, so you end up waiting a fair bit. Staff should be asked to spend more attention on actual service and not how well you setup the table.
