Amatara Wellness Resort

My husband and I visited the resort for valentine's day dinner on the beach. What an amazing evening we had. From start to end it was perfect. Everything had been thought of starting with photo booths on arrival, dedicated tables for two with lights on the sand at the edge of the sea, fabulous 5 course meal cooked by the sea, loads of staff available immediately and cello player. A special mention has to go to staff members Ammy for organising special requests & polite & helpful emails and Ryan for overseeing a memorable evening. Thank yiu so much

From the moment of arrival at Amatara Wellness Resort Phuket, we were warmly welcomed by the lovely Jasper at reception. The check-in experience was elevated with a beautifully presented Thai tea—delightfully fragrant and energizing—which immediately set the tone for the stay. Jasper’s genuine warmth and wonderful personality made us feel truly cared for. The resort itself is a sanctuary of serenity: stunning sunsets, breathtaking infinity pools, peaceful nights, and magical moonlit skies. Every detail feels intentional and calming. Breakfast at Siri Restaurant was absolutely fabulous. The buffet offered incredibly fresh, beautifully prepared selections, including vibrant fresh fruit juices, Thai cuisine staples that were succulent and full of flavor, and made-to-order eggs cooked to perfection. The omelettes were flawless, and every dish felt thoughtfully crafted. A special mention goes to the gentleman preparing the eggs each morning—while I regret not asking his name, his hospitality deserves recognition. He greeted guests daily with a warm smile, happy to prepare your omelette, Guay Tiew (ก๋วยเตี๋ยว)Made-to-order Thai noodle soup or whatever you wished, always attentive and genuinely joyful. It’s a reminder that true customer hospitality is a names business, and his presence made each morning feel personal and welcoming. The entire team consistently delivers exceptional service, anticipating every need with grace. This has been an absolutely wonderful experience—a true slice of heaven on earth and a jewel of the Andaman Sea. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed staying at Amatara Wellness hotel where we found all the staff super helpful and friendly. We bought a health package which was great and really helped us kickstart our holiday in a healthy way. The spa was very impressive and the expertise of the therapist Muay was amazing. Both massages by her were wonderful. I also had an IV drip to help with immunity and Tippy, the nurse who administered it was so patient and friendly and it didn’t hurt a bit. The doctors who introduced us to the programme and wellness assessment were thorough and made the results easy to understand. Thank you to all the teams

This is probably the best resort I have ever been to. I will structure it such that it is easier to read. Rooms/Resort This was the highlight for us. We booked the sea view villa. The room was incredibly spacious had a huge bathroom with a big walk in shower as well as 2 toilets. The closet space was big and had automatic blinds which was a nice touch. The view was absolutely stunning, the best view I’ve ever had from a resort. The Pool was very nice and clean and a good enough size to swim. The area for tanning was also amazing. As a Muslim couple, privacy meant a lot to us and Amatara made sure to accommodate. Not all rooms are equal, some have more privacy than others so if this is important for you speak to them. The cleaning was also amazing. Always left phenomenally clean and folded our clothes which was very kind. The room also came with 8 pieces of laundry cleaning per day which was very very handy. It also came with 2 free drinks per day and one tea time lunch. They also give you glass bottled water instead of plastic as they focus on health here. They also do honeymoon packages which are decently priced as well as breakfast in the pool. The resort is stunning. Surrounded by beach and jungle. The mosquitos do come out at night by the restaurants so wear the repellant. Service The service here was amazing. Every single worker is super respectful and displays what we saw everyone in Phuket, a country based on respect. People are always smiling and they try their utmost to solve your issues. The receptionists were all super useful and solved all our issues. The security was also amazing, as you went in and out every car was checked which gives you an extra piece of mind. They buggy you anywhere you want to go. Food The food here was decent. The Thai food was good quality but as you’d expect about 5 times the price of outside cafes. The western food was not as good and I would not reccomend eating this unless you are very picky. Though the pizza was actually really nice but again on the expensive side compared to outside. I would very highly reccomend this resort. It was an amazing and unforgettable honeymoon. Will definitely come back in the future inshallah.

Hands down one of the best properties in Phuket. The hotel seemed new and maintained, sufficient vegetarian options in the menu. The receptionist was very welcoming to all our queries and they provided us with a free upgrade as well. Special mention to "Jasper" who patiently addressed our questions and went out of her way to make our stay pleasant. Since we had an early morning flight, they kept a breakfast basket ready for us to take on the go, without us even asking or mentioning the same. The housekeeping was very thorough and clean rooms. Hotel itself was located at a beautiful cliff with an amazing view to enjoy at all times with their private beach. Truly a wonderful stay.
