We had a fantastic time in Saalbach, the hotel Alpin Resort ValSaa made the holiday for us. Lovely clean, fresh comfortable hotel. Relaxed but high quality in all areas. Lovely lounge/lobby area, high quality furnishings plenty of space. We had all inclusive, which was a real boon on a ski holiday. We like the balance of evening salad/soup/bread buffet, but then with a waiter service for formal plated professional chef served starter/main course/dessert options each night as well. This gives plenty of options, but also helps us to sit as a family together for part of the meal. In other hotels where the service is all buffet only, we always find we are never at the table altogether as someone is always up at the buffet. Here you really have best of both worlds. On all inclusive a wide range of wines, alcohol and non alcohol drinks, including cocktails and mixes, always in nice glasses, were free flowing as you wanted them. Lunch service is all afternoon, so very flexible to how the ski/outdoor daytime goes, and if family have different stamina levels you can return at different times through the afternoon and still have the same lunch food offering. Swimming pool was lovely, and large enough that you could swim for exercise, as well as relax and chill in the areas around the Pool with sauna options and hot outdoor bubble pools, we note the full outdoor pool and bubble pools are not necessarily open all day. A couple of evenings there was a live singer/guitarist in the lounge which we enjoyed, and highlights how the hotel invest in the extras to make your time there very high standard. All staff worked very hard and very committed to their guests, having a high standard time and served us with engagement. Several have worked there for many years. Took pride in there work and the hotel. Ski equipment lockers amazing, layout all your gear including helmets, gloves and clothing, and all heated and drained of water/dampness by morning. Plenty of space in the ski locker to organise yourselves and family in the morning, thin carpet feel soft flooring, soft stools, and always clean. This was the best ski locker experience we have had by far on a ski trip. In this area there were also several washing machines you could just use (bring your own detergent), and also a table tennis table. The hotel owner has spared no expense in quality equipment throughout the hotel and quality food/chef work all day. Lovely genuine art work around the building. Our room had a soft glowing space/galaxy star/milky way view on the ceiling when falling asleep at night. Lovely interesting features to have something to talk about and remember the holiday by. Ski area is good, large well connected, this is our 2nd visit to Saalbach, and it confirmed that it helps to be a reasonably competent skier, whilst there is a lot of terrain and lifts/services are great, many of the Blue runs are actually quite tough for occasional holiday family skiers who are not all super fit/strong! Especially when the resort is busy at peak holiday times, so Saalbach may not be the best resort for skiers with limited confidence/ski fitness, especially if you hope to ski all around the mountains. But the hotel can then make a big difference to an overall holiday experience in these cases and it did not matter if we had a tough/shorter ski day as the hotel was a pleasure to be within. We would highly recommend ValSaa Alpinresort. Just hope the good review does not mean the holiday time price gets to out of reach for us to return again!

Came back from a great ski vacation in Saalbach. The hotel staff is really amazing, very personal service, doing utmost effort to keep you happy and pleased and accommodate any needs in the stay, kitchen, bar, room, spa and everything. Rooms are very nice and clean. Spa is great including sauna , jacuzzi, ice bath, indoor and outdoor pool. The ski room is the best I have seen, spacious, amazing cabinets, easy access. Saalbach requires some waking to the lifts. There is a hotel shuttle that is useful in the morning if you don’t want to walk.

Have just returned from my 10th stay at this fabulous Hotel. Have skied for 40+ years and always searched for a place that ticks all the boxes, the Alpinresort ValSaa - Sport & Spa in Saalbarch is it. Already planning to return next year. From the outset the reception is warm, friendly and feels homely. The rooms are beautifully furnished, a great size with amazing views, well equipped with a welcoming gift and premium bathroom products. The Bar and Restaurant are equally amazing, incredibly efficient, friendly, and the level of service and quality are second to none. The boot room lockers are the best you will see anywhere. The owner is ever present and invests heavily in enhancing our experience every year. A fabulous experience.

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at, hands down. The room was spacious and comfy; the facilities were amazing. We could not wait to end each day of skiing at the open-air hottub/whirlpool (which was emptied, cleaned spotlessly and refilled on a daily basis!), under the snowy skies. The hotel has the best ski-room I have ever seen, with a lift directly up to the street where the ski-shuttle awaits. I won't even mention the amazing choice of saunas. This is an all-inclusive hotel, with superb food (both buffet and service), a fantastic choice of food and drinks, excellent wines, and a wonderful bar with a good selection of drinks included in the basic package. Above all else, there is one aspect to this hotel that outdoes all other hotels I have been to, and this is the amazing level of service. From reception, through the bar, the restaurant and all other service members in the hotel, everyone is just so nice and welcoming. They will literally go out of their way to assist and make you feel at home. After a week here, we feel like we're staying with family, and very saddened to leave.

we celebrated new year with 3 children. they had a premium all inclusive policy in the new year. Lovely atmosphere , guests and staff. The all inclusive concept was good, sometimes very good , sometimes almost amazing. Our expectations was fairly high due to a high price level......... We felt all the staff tried their best in helping us and make the best experience . little minus was limits in the bar regarding selection of spirits ++. I was not expecting this in this price level. Lunch buffet was in my opinon sometimes poor ........... In overall a great stay and we wish to come back and hoping for a slightly improvement
