Always low to stay in this hotel . Spa one of the best in Europe . Recommend

It’s amazing. A bit pricey but absolutely beautiful and worth it! I highly recommend it.

Our first stay here was for 6 nights on the last week of August 2025, and it absolutely exceeded our expectations. The hotel is laser-focused on providing the highest level of service, and it shows in almost every aspect of our stay here. There are a few minor points of criticism, but they didn't negatively affect our overall experience. There is a lot to expand on, so I will try to stay organized and go by subject. **Room:** We had a double room "Balance" in the recently renovated Obstgartl 1 building. Our room was very spacious, with a good and silent air conditioner, a nice balcony, and top-of-the-line bathroom and shower facilities. The bed was very comfortable. The design was very pleasant and combined natural and modern elements well. The housekeeping staff was very polite, friendly and thorough - we only have praise for them. Every day, our room looked like new. **Dining:** Culinary is a definite highlight of this resort, with a truly luxurious breakfast and dinner. On the first night's dinner we were shown to our table, which would remain ours throughout the entire stay. The dinner menu changes daily, and it has great variety between different options. Each dish we had was both plated beautifully and delicious. The dishes are small to avoid food waste (which we appreciate!) - but you are encouraged to order more as much as you wish (there is no extra cost). **Drinks:** Alcoholic drinks do cost extra, and much like other extras in the hotel, are priced steeply. This is to be expected in such a high-end establishment, and was not an issue for us. Bar service was generally great, and notably very efficient - and the selection of available drinks is wide. However, we bring up two small points of improvements here: 1. Having more draft beer options would be highly appreciated. 2. Cocktails were in our opinion a weak point, and they vastly differed in quality between one another. None were particularly excellent - usually just okay, and unfortunately some were just not good (I tried the bloody mary and ended up sending it back). For the price point many of these cocktails are offered at - between 15 and 20 euros at the time of writing - we expect a much higher quality offering. But to be clear, there is plenty of nice stuff to drink. otherwise. **Pools (water world):** There are many pools in the resort, they all look nice and are designed as beautifully as the rest of the hotel - and in theory they're divided in a way that you have pools for families/kids/general chaos and others for relaxation and swimming, where loud noise and children below 12 are not allowed. However, in reality this division wasn't really present in our experience, and there were almost always small (often noisy) children with their parents in the main relaxation pool. I also think the so-called infinity pool is probably a misnomer in this hotel due to it not having a fully transparent edge that blends the pool water with the horizon beyond. Still a very beautiful pool, but in my opinion this devalues the term. Another thing we'd like to see is better access to pool side drinks - there is a limited offering in the form of a pool bar that you can get drinks in, but getting tipsy off it is basically impossible. They're offered in smaller sizes than in the normal hotel bar and at even higher prices. The pools (and especially the many types of comfortable relaxation loungers around them) were still very nice overall, but the above points stand. **Sauna village (saunadorf):** Without doubt the best and most beautiful part of the hotel. It's a huge area spanning multiple floors, and restricted to 16+ so this time indeed there were no kids. The number and variety of different saunas - as well as the many uniquely designed, gorgeous relaxation rooms (and even clothing-optional pools) between them - is just staggering. It's a perfect combination of exploration and ultimate relaxation. **In summary:** We had a wonderful time, we hope to be back soon and we would recommend the hotel to anyone going to the area. We stayed in the sauna world and for dinner only. The place is amazing and we were positively surprised with how good everything is. It is just so seemingly effortless. But the staff were so kind and truly orientated to the customer. Everyone was so kind and helpful. We can truly recommend it for the service, amount of good quality pools and saunas and an amazing dinner.

This is not my first stay at this hotel, and I’m always excited to come back. The service and atmosphere are excellent. Every corner of the interior feels thoughtfully designed and created with soul. The fireplace and the relaxing spa area in autumn 🍂 are simply amazing — the best natural antidepressant! Highly recommend.
