Not worth the price. Not a 5 star experience. Oak Room experience is a scam. Left the table barely satisfied. Portions are miserable with miserly dots of food on foot wide delf. Food is not generous and clearly a rip off. Furthermore, we felt rushed and interrupted from the moment we sat down in the very unspectaculsr 'Oak Room'. It was frankly intolerable and unacceptable for the price they charged per head.
While the Wines were good, this is an establishment with no interest in showing regular people what 5 star means. Like everything else in Ireland, It's about seling a lie and charging extortionately.
5 star I dont think so!

A fantastic experience! Every member of the hotel was fantastic and helpful.
A special thanks to Beatriz (front desk).
Saurabh was also super helpful and accommodating at the restaurant.
Max / Mark and the team were great at the padel club.
Many thanks

One of the best hotels / resorts I have ever stayed in. Everything is world-class; from the padel courts to the bicycles. Impeccable yet friendly service. Stunning venue. Golf on the doorstep. Michelin-quality food. We will be back!

I don’t understand how this hotel was once voted one of the best in Europe. For the price, it was disappointing.
While marketed as family-friendly, that wasn’t our experience. Despite informing the hotel about a special family occasion, the atmosphere felt awkward, with excessive staff presence rather than genuine hospitality.
The entrance and reception are beautiful, and the room was spacious and well prepared for a family, with some nice touches. However, the interior design was bland and lacked character.
Food was a major let-down. Afternoon tea was nicely presented but tasteless — the worst we’ve had in Ireland. Breakfast was very limited, and hot dishes were poorly executed.
The grounds are fine, likely better suited to golfers. The open water terrace felt unsafe for small children due to a lack of safety features.
Overall, the location is acceptable, but the food quality, atmosphere, and family experience do not justify the price, and the luxury feels superficial.

Our stay at Adare Manor was nothing short of magical — a perfect blend of grandeur, history, and heartfelt hospitality. From the moment we arrived, the majestic façade and immaculate gardens set the tone for an unforgettable escape.
The Great Hall took our breath away: soaring arches, intricate woodwork, and a crystal chandelier casting a soft glow over plush velvet lounges — every corner exudes old-world charm. We loved relaxing by the fire, surrounded by soft piano notes and the scent of fresh flowers.
Our room was a dream — elegant, serene, and meticulously detailed. The tapestry above the bed, the chandelier, and the crisp white linens created a refined yet intimate atmosphere. The small touches — a handwritten card and a beautifully crafted anniversary dessert — made us feel truly special.
Dinner at The Carriage House was another highlight: a cozy ambiance, exceptional service, and perfectly cooked steak paired with a fine glass of wine. The setting felt both luxurious and relaxed — ideal for a romantic evening.
Breakfast the next morning, served in elegant striped china, was delightful — the perfect finale to an unforgettable stay.
Adare Manor isn’t just a hotel; it’s a living storybook. Every detail, from the carved staircases to the impeccable service, invites you to slow down and savour the beauty around you. We left with full hearts and lasting memories — already dreaming of our next visit.
